So, you've figured out the washing machine, got your bill-pay system in place, and learned how insurance (is supposed to) work.

Great! Now let's add a couple of things!

Say you're at some function or restaurant with a family member. Someone comes up out of the blue and gives you the old "Phil? Phil! I thought that was you!". When you get to that BING moment, take a second to introduce whoever you're with. It's simple, just "Ohh! Ned! This is my spouse So-n-so, (spouse) this is Ned Ryerson." Then you con continue on with your reminisce about that bad case of singles as long as you want, and your family member won't feel like a dummy.

I can't remember who but they have tagged me something like "sad Corvette story". Because I got into this car restoration and realized I don't actually want the car. But I still kept it going because I didn't want to disappoint my dad who is big into old cars. I want to say it's @turkeypants or the long-deleted BostonHawaiiCaliGirl?

So:

My sister and I were cleaning up my dad's house to sell and I was talking about what to do with his classic car because I can't be keeping two old cars. And she goes "Dad always told me privately that he thought your Corvette was a money-pit and you should have sold it years ago."

Aaaaaagggghhhhh
why can't people just say things
Why are dads l

TLDR: I know several people here have put spacers or wider tires on, how much does it affect the car? I'm looking at 18mm wider than stock.

I bought a set of wheels off Facebook because I want to switch out snow tires and summers.

My F56 (2019 2door) has wheel ET of 54 mm, but these wheels turn out to be 34, oops. Wheel size calculators say that's no problem fitting the brakes, but they'll stick out of the fender by 25mm (seems fine).

My question is, I will have an 18mm positive scrub radius, while the stock wheels are zero. I'm seeing that may result in handling differences, especially with hard braking.

Don't get me wrong, it's cool of them to give out some of the free stuff we missed out on over the season. Not mad about it.

Edit thanks to u/chromaphobic They are giving out a package of "promo items" like you would get on certain game nights.

4x Carlos Santana Silver Slugger Bobblehead courtesy of Lexus
4x Mike Clevinger Red Jersey courtesy of Car Parts Warehouse
Indians Tote Bag courtesy of MLB Network

You are supposed to go to your STH ticket account and RSVP for a pick-up time window to go to the park and pick this up.

But free Clevinger jerseys just made me laugh for some reason.

I'm selling a car I've owned for ten years. It's got a few things wrong with it, one of the TPS sensors is bad, there's a rusty spot...

I just did the brakes all around because I wouldn't feel right about someone driving off with the pads as worn as they were, but should I spend the money on a little body work and that kind of stuff or just disclose it in the ad?
