My PSU only has 2 8 pin cables and I need 3, so guess I gotta wait for a new PSU to get delivered :(

Don’t be a noob like me, check your power cable requirements before buying.

Looking for a cool group of people to chat with and hang out with while lvling some new toons and trying to forget about the stresses of real life. NA, probably gonna start alliance but I can get convinced to return to my Horde origins.

Hello, I just purchased a U2 model and I’m having some weird issues on set up. I added my Samsung TV and it works fine, I added a Klipsch 2.1 speaker system and it works fine, but when I add my Xbox it only works from like 5 feet away. Up close it works perfectly fine, but my sofa is about 15 feet away. I can control the speakers and TV fine, just not the Xbox from 15 ft. I tried a Roku, and it also only worked from about 5 ft away.

I’ve been using a Logitech Harmony 665 for the past 8 years and some of the buttons just don’t work anymore so I’m looking for a replacement. My Logitech always worked from that distance and even further on the same Xbox.

Hello! I just started my weight loss journey as I’ve been trying to improve my overall health. I know that a lot of people swear by intermittent fasting, but what about the occasional 24 hour fast? I had lunch at 11:45 yesterday, and didn’t have an appetite when I came home so I skipped dinner. I feel fine this morning and am about to do cardio at the gym. I’m kinda hungry this morning but I figured it’s only gonna be 3 more hours by the time I leave the gym to make it 24 hours so why not? I’ve been drinking lots of water she has a cup of coffee this morning. Is this safe to do as long as I stay hydrated? I weigh 330, trying to get to 240 (goal my pcp set for me for now), so I have a lot sto

Just go fishing

Discussion

It seems like a lot of problems across the franchise would be solved if people just went fishing when asked. I’m in the middle of watching the episode where Jack gets framed for assassinating the senator, and he has no alibi because he was fishing, alone. Throughout the whole series he continually asks the team to come fishing and is turned down repeatedly. In Atlantis, we would’ve kept the real Beckett if someone had just gone fishing with him.

Moral of the story - go fishing when asked

I just got the last of my parts delivered for a brand new build today, and I went with a 6750XT GPU. I’ve been reading about some issues with driver updates recently, what is the best/most stable driver version for me to download as I start my build later tonight?

I have a $300 budget for my GPU in a build I’m going to put together in July. So far I’ve been able to reliably find the following at $300 - RX 6750 XT, RX 7600 XT, RTX 4060. Will be at 1080P.

I have a $300 budget for a GPU for a new budget build, pairing with a Ryzen 5 8500 and 32 gigs RAM. My two options seem to be a 7600 XT for $290 or a 3060 TI on sale near me for $250. I’ll be gaming in 1080P and the most GPU intensive games I can think of that I play currently are Forza and Helldivers, but I rarely end up playing newer games too often. What do you think?

Maybe Dumb Question?

General Advice

Sorry in advance that this may be a little dumb, but I’m getting a lot of anxiety. Just bought a 2024 Honda HRV Sport. I absolutely love the car and it more than meets all my families day to day needs. My only concern is how it fares on road trips. I just did a road short trip, 250 miles each way and noticed that in order to maintain 70-75 mph (just the speed limit), the car was having to hold about 2700 RPM. I still averaged 35 mpg across the entire trip, but I was worried about the higher RPM sustained for several hours. I was planning a much longer trip, about 10-11 hours and aside from the occasional 10 minute bathroom break, we were gonna do it straight. Should I worry about the CVT ove
