I don’t understand what EA is doing…

So far, they have nerfed:

Power shots Finesse shots Heading

So essentially they’re reinforcing the worst possible meta, which is spinning around in circles and hoarding possession without attacking until the AI makes a mistake and leaves a gap. Just completely baffling how they’re taking the creativity out of this game. You already can’t have a breakaway without your players getting caught, over the top through balls are like a 50/50 if the player can bring them down before the defender takes it. Just insane to have a football game where you’re discouraged from playing the game with any sort of creativity.

I’m not sure if it’s just me but does anyone think Champs rewards are currently underwhelming? You’re pretty much hoping for an elite TOTS card — and there are a pretty decent amount of cards out now that are better than the TOTS equivalent. This past weekend I got Koulibaly and Hemp lol

Just seems like people who currently play champs won’t really benefit from most cards and pack weight has been abysmal. Even the ultimate pack doesn’t have a guaranteed rating and for champs rewards it really should

Should be a crime. How is the community putting up with this especially during TOTY? So you essentially have packs worth > 100k coins and you can’t fucking sell anything or make any coins back from it?

I haven’t bought any but essentially what they’re doing is:

• pushing players spend their actual money on packs
• driving up prices of all cards (especially TOTY)
• making SBCs more expensive
• enhancing their already exploitive pay to win model

They essentially made it too accessible to have a great team last year and earn coins. The solution was to screw over player base that isn’t spending money this year. Even though the game isn’t FTP.

Who do you think is best suited to play RM? I pulled SIF Vinicius earlier in the year so my LM is sorted. Ideally would need one of either Messi, Best, or Neymar (7 Chem) to play as a RM.

I know Best and Messi are generally regarded as being better at CAM/ST but I’ve got Aouar and Benzema in those two spots and don’t really want to replace either because they’ve been great. All I’m looking for is a good winger. The downside to best is that he isn’t tradeable so I would only do him if he’s significantly better than NIF Neymar/Messi.

Ideally I’d like to spend ~ 450k at max so I suppose numbers up Di Maria could be worth it as well. Unfortunately am currently limited to Ligue 1 and icons bec

So I used Ibra for the first time in the WL so I figured I'd post my review and show you how he did.

Stats: 25 Games Played: 36 Goals, 6 Assists Proof

Pace: 8/10

So he's not quick enough to turn and beat defenders but he is fast for his size. With engine he was just quick enough to get a shot off against the elite defenders but definitely not fast enough to beat them. But there were some instances where he would make a run and defenders weren't able to catch him/body him off the ball.

Shooting: 9.5/10

Just played a fut champs game against a great opponent with a fantastic team (HL Neymar, TOTS Mbappe) and Ibra scored a hattrick. The guy gets into the best positions and has some of the best passing I’ve seen from a forward. He’s really strong on the ball and his shot is an absolute rocket.

He didn’t seem too clunky for me either. He does have some hilarious moments where he falls over after passing because of his balance, but other than that he’s absolute class.

Currently using him in a 4231 as a lone striker with TOTS Dybala behind him and they are working well together.

Edit- sample size is ridiculously small but his positioning and surprisingly speed blew me away
