I am no legal expert so take what I say with a grain of salt, but the latest legislative election appears to be have been conducted in an improper way due to only allowing 13 candidates to be voted on individually for 25 seats. The constitution calls for the number of seats to be 1 per 75 members of the subreddit up to a cap of 30. The current membership of the subreddit appears to be 2600+, which would result in 35 seats if uncapped, reduced to 30 to meet the cap. As of writing this I haven’t seen a clear explanation for the 25 number, maybe there’s a good reason, maybe it’s a mistake. Anyone know?

I’m back again running for legislature to give representation to both my party and my fellow democratic socialists. I’m about to head to class so can’t answer anything right away but here is my five points that I ran on previously, I think they represent me decently well:

  1. The preservation of democracy and the empowerment of the people against the rule of the few.
  2. The protection and expansion of the people’s civil rights and liberties that shall not be impeded.
  3. The prevention of corruption and abuse within our democratic institutions by increasing transparency and accountability.
  4. The pruning of any loopholes in the constitution that may be abused to threaten our democracy through

A lot of us, myself included, are unlikely to win anything this time around. This is of course mainly because there is only three positions open and many more vying for them. As such I thought it best to remind everyone to not take it too hard or feel bad if they don’t make it! This democracy experiment is meant to be a fun time, and there will always be another election. Besides, winning an election and getting the job isn’t always great since those members face even greater scrutiny and controversy over every action. Nevertheless, good luck in the elections everyone!

I was originally going to hold another AMA yesterday but college work proved too time consuming. Luckily, this morning I have time to answer some questions again. Here are the Five Points of my campaign:

  1. The preservation of democracy and the empowerment of the people against the rule of the few.
  2. The protection and expansion of the people’s civil rights and liberties that shall not be impeded.
  3. The prevention of corruption and abuse within our democratic institutions by increasing transparency and accountability.

  3. The prevention of corruption and abuse within our democratic institutions by increasing transparency and accountability.
  4. The pruning of any loopholes in the constitution that may be abused to threaten our democracy through another constitutional convention or a thorough review of the current one.
  5. The promotion of independent thought and agency within the government against the rise of polarization and infighting.

It is pretty clear that David is meant to die, most likely shot in the head as shown in the intro, but we aren’t given a clear indication of who is holding the gun. The best we have is an outline of a person, represented with images of the city, likely representing some higher power. At first I thought it was the man with four eyes but I don’t think it’s that obvious, you can even see his face flash upon david along with many other characters, and they went out of their way to make the killers outline simplified enough that we really only can make out the shape of the clothing and gun.

I personally feel David might have stumbled upon something he wasn’t supposed to see and ended up picking
