Alright hear me out, let me make it very clear that I am a KKR fan, secondly, my prediction relies more on what will happen in reality, and because of that this prediction is not based on how strong the teams are on paper. My thesis is that the teams win IPL due to one of these: X factors and venue adaptability (this covers team balance and composition depth as well)

The reason i have dc in 7th is because of that, they lack X factors despite having perhaps the best team on paper. I would have had KKR to finish 4th-6th had Harshit Rana and Pathirana not been injured.

PS: This is just a prediction of points

Let's be honest, which team has a worse set of options to choose from to start pacers? We will most probably start two of Akashdeep / Vaibhav / Umran Malik / Blessing (yes i am not even counting Kartik Tyagi)

Say we start Akashdeep and Blessing (until pathirana returns) and bring on Vaibhav Arora as our impact player, it's still very underwhelming and we will most likely struggle in the powerplay as well as the death overs.

I don't KKR fans are deeping it enough, if we had Harshit Rana and Pathirana fit, it would have been a whole different story, we just went from having one of the better pace departments to having the worst. I won't be surprised if we finish bottom three because of this.
