I never finished M&M6. I completed M&M 7 and 8 once, when I was a kid. Now I’ve returned to the series thanks to the Merge mod and… and I can’t finish any of the storylines! I have a save file where I’m in the pyramid in M&M6, in Lincoln in M&M7, and I’ve finished every other quest in those two games—and what am I doing? I’m playing through the M&M8 campaign. Damn it, it’s not like I’m bored with the story or the game, because I’m still playing. I’m already at the end, but somehow, I just can’t bring myself to do it. Why? Please tell me I’m not alone...

Does anyone else have a problem with the fact, that sometimes when you enter the mirrage in the juiced map, you start in the middle of a group of monsters? In extreme cases, the entire screen is full of mobs. I play as a summoner, and a large part of my survi depends on the activity of offerings and buffs, but unfortunately, entering the mirrage resets them. As a result, I sometimes die 0.1s after moving, before I can do anything.

Is this an intentional design? Is it not possible to force a safe place around player spawn position?

Got my first Deity victory last night with Peter! It was a Religious Victory, and honestly it was easier than I expected. It took a bit of fishing for a good tundra start and some early RNG luck, but overall he’s a great leader for a first Deity run, in my opinion.

So here’s my question: what other cool strategies or interactions are as satisfying to use as Russia’s religion setup with Dance of the Aurora, Lavras, cult stuff, etc.? I’d like to learn more about the game, but I really don’t want to study and analyze the entire in-game encyclopedia. I’ve already done one PhD in my life — I don’t need another one here.

I'm confused. I just finished my first Gnawnian Express ride. I entered a train solo and made over 100% of expected points. Just before finishing a ride I had no more things to do, so I used a map to go to another location to buy some stuff as waiting. After finish of a countdown train menu just disappeared. No entry in journal, no addition info, no rewards... Was I not supposed to change location? I don't understand...
