OLED screens mean two more things affect battery life: dark pixels and the refresh rate. Having a watch face that is mostly black will slightly increase battery life and having a screen with no animation will push it even further. Something like Numerals Duo outline is mostly black and only updates once per minute. I’ve found the battery performance so much better with this face, but I've not seen anyone else mention it.

in other words does abandoning a map completely reset it, or does it have all the base still intact?

I’m sending surge from a lunch pad to my base on sunken pier but when it arrives it’s plastanium.

I have two launchpads sending plastanium already and the third is hooked up to surge, but it seems like the game isn’t ‘updating’ the item types. Is there a trick to getting it to work?

I'm buying a house and paying the mortgage deposit with money from family, some of whom are overseas.

I understand that a mortgage lender needs to check the source of gifted funds, especially overseas money because it could be from criminal activity. However we have money in an account given to us several years ago by my parents in law, and I wondered if there was a time limit for how long something can be considered a gift? It's our joint account so there has been lots of money in and out since then. What's the cutoff?

So I have a quote for some work to my house that qualifies for a £7500 government subsidy. This is great and essentially means I only pay for £4000 for the work.

However, the installers don't see that subsidy until after the work finishes so to them this is £11,500. They want a deposit to begin the work, which means I'm paying 100% of my costs up-front.

They're asking for a reasonable deposit from their point of view, but it leaves me with no way to protect my money. How can I pay this deposit in a reasonable way to protect myself? Is there some sort of third-party deposit holders for tradespeople? Keen to get thoughts on how to deal with (reasonably reputable) tradespeople.

Playing on mobile, almost every item has ‘no item description’. Given the age of the game, isn’t it weird to have this sort of placeholder text in the production version of the game? Why not leave it blank, or better yet write some text?

I’m just wondering whether to get the errors cleared, or does it sound like the whole radio needs replacing? Is this a common thing?
