GNEM 19 months workex 97%ile xat
I was waitlisted at ximb BM at 378. I thought the waitlist hardly ever moves this much so didn’t pay the waitlist fee and paid the fee at gim. Also I had started the loan process for gim at the time.
Now I just got to know that waitlist has moved a lot for ximb this year 350+ and I could have converted it.
Am i cooked?

GNEM here. I’ll be joining gim core this year. I have 20 months of workex in sales across 2 industries.
How hard/easy will it be for me to land a good role/sip in finance if I choose all the right electives from the start?
I have very little bg as of yet and there isn’t enough time for cfa l1 before the sip season.
Would love to know if you’ve successfully done this yourself or have any inputs on things I should keep in mind.

IMT gave me DCP
NMIMS gave me navi mumbai
I now have no hopes left from XLRI I know it’ll just be another heartbreak.
Only converts I have are glim c and gim. I am grateful and will try to do my best from whichever of these I choose.

I read somewhere that it’ll be out by 15th while some are saying last week of April.

GNEM 20 months sales work ex (basic pay). This was my 2nd attempt and I scored Cat - 91%ile ,Xat - 97%ile and Nmat - 247
I‘ve only converted GIM & GLIMC. Rest are calls I’m not gonna join( IMT dcp & NM navi mum). I really hope I convert XIMB or XL and then I would have no regrets joining those Clgs. But it is quite possible that this does not happen, had avg interviews at both, so gim and glim might end up being my only converts.
I was planning on going ahead with gim if it turn out this way but I can’t shake this feeling that it’s a mistake. Not that these are not great Clgs but glim seems better suited for engineers and gim seems quite chill unlike the grind which is common in all schoo

But here’s the thing I did my UG in marketing and worked for 2 years in sales. However, I want to go into finance post mba. Considering this which of these should I choose?
Also if anyone has any pointer on how to make this switch seamlessly would love to hear them below or I can dm :)
Waiting for ximb and xlri as well for now but did not have great PIs here so not sure about them.
After the Nm and Imt fiasco I am considering it. (PGDM)
First NM gave me Navi Mumbai at 247 nmat and decent ct.
Now IMT gave me dcp at 97%ile xat.
The process seems so arbitrary atp :)
Just appeared for XIMB interview today. GD went well PI was avg.
Tbh feeling is extremely bittersweet. On one had I am glad that there’s no more travel and pre interview anxiety. But, also feels oddly empty.
Now we hope and pray!!🙏
