People who have made use of this group - what have your experiences been like? I know I've asked one or two people privately but I thought I'd just throw it out there for more feedback (there isn't a feedback/review/complaints thread there).
From what I gather,
Men outnumber women by far
Success rate is low (I see the same people re-posting after months/years)
"Women" tend to be men with a sick sense of humour?
Have you been catfished? How many responses did you get?
Were they from the type of people you were advertising for?
Did you meet any of them in person, even if it didn't culminate in anything?
I want to purge myself of all these bad memories!!!
GRADE SCHOOL: Chubby, quiet, sweaty palms and hairy legs. Comments re: hands/legs were frequent.
Swimming lesson - too shy to ask for bathroom. Peed in the pool. Combined session with 2 grades' worth of kids/teachers watching. Some laughed. Some cringed.
Just about every oral presentation. Read straight from paper. Kids not interested. Teachers not impressed.
