For some reason as protection Paladin I can't hold aggro all the time. Wanted to know if anybody has any tips to help me out. I use Ring of Charging Bull +4, Binding Oath, Aura of Radiance and Vow of Enmity.

Generally I don't like prologues as I would rather get into the story. Anything I need to setup the world building I like to spread across the first few chapters, but I can't with my current WIP.

It is a scifi thriller set in the year 2359. I want to use the prologue as a quick up to speed of the stories setting. It would be similar to the beginning of Star Wars when we read the scrolling text to familiarize ourselves with the big picture, but is only 735 words.

Do you think that is a good way to use a prologue?

I have several scenes where characters sing a song (Karaoke) while doing something and later performing a song. Currently I have stage directions before they start letting you know they are singing with it in a normal format like dialogue with stage directions interspersed. Would this be the correct way to write it or would it be formatted differently?

I'm interested in someone answering questions about solar storms, flares, CME's in relation to the Carrington Event in 1859. The story revolves around this event happening again.
