I have GeoIP setup in pfBlocker to only allow access from the countries that I travel to.

I also have OpenVPN

I noticed recently that the firewall logs are showing connection attempts from an IP outside of my GeoIP allow list, which made me wonder... does pfBlocker see the WAN traffic before, or after, OpenVPN?

I had just assumed that pfBlocker would only permit WAN traffic from my GeoIP allow list, and then OpenVPN would see it.

Or have I missed something?
