Like the title, I want to know if it’s possible to dispute the $45 bill I received for this month.

I’ve been away from the country for 5 weeks, and the only thing running in my apartment is my refrigerator. I made sure to turn off the lights, and all appliances before leaving. So, I’m sure there’s nothing eating that much energy.

The month before that, I got hit with a $150 bill. So I was kind of glad to see what the charges would be if I wasn’t home. Safe to say that BC hydro sucks. In the summer I pay $25-$40, and that’s with the AC, fan and stove running consistently.

What gives?! Has anyone else had this experience?

Very unsure that I will be making my flight to Calgary tomorrow. Just wanted to ask if checking in means you may not be eligible for a refund.

I have a call back scheduled for 8:30pm. Hopefully they grace me with a call back. Also is it possible to cancel at least one leg of the flight and then keep the return trip itinerary?

Another question, if I don’t cancel or change my itinerary without contacting them, does that mean I forgo a refund? I honestly just want to deal with the hassle after the whole ordeal has settled.

I’ve run into a weird situation with my car. I got it inspected by Budget Brakes & Muffler and was told I would possibly need a head gasket replacement for my 2010 Kia Forte.

Now I’m in search of a reliable mechanic who could possibly help with the issue without price gouging of course. I’m a lady and sadly not mechanically inclined, so I need some leads.

Apparently there’s air bubbles in the coolant, and the coolant was low, and while the mechanic was doing a test drive. There was a white cloud of smoke from the exhaust too 😭.

The car is still working fine as normal. Just need a few pointers

I’m looking to get my tires changed over to my summer wheels (without rims). I got an online quote from Kal Tire, and it was approx $180.

Looking to see if there are more affordable options before I commit.

P.S: I have no rims, so I’m aware that I will pay more. I just like a good bargain 😁

Has anyone had this experience with their Swiss cheese plant?

I’ve had this plant for about 2-3 months now, it has been thriving and pushing out new babies.

Although, today I noticed that it had some brown spots and leaves are getting wrinkly and turn yellow. There are also some brown spots on its new growth.

I have a north facing apartment, so I get limited Sunlight during the day. I always put it next to the window to get some sun. I also just repotted it to a bigger pot as it was outgrowing the previous ( roots were poking through the drainage holes).

I also haven’t watered since repotting cause I read it’s best to let it rest for a while. Any thoughts as to what I could be doing

Hi everyone, I’m looking to get my tires changed on my 2010 Kia Forte for winter.

I currently have an appointment with Kal-tire coming up. I got quoted $900 tax included for the new set of tires, alignments and tire change.

Right now, my budget is a little tight so I was wondering if I can purchase used tires somewhere else. Plus, I don’t want to spend too much money on the car since I plan on selling it next year.

Is the quote at Kal-tires a good deal, and should I just swallow the cost? Or can I get a better deal elsewhere? Costco maybe?

Looking to hear your thoughts and suggestions. TIA

P.S- I could try Marketplace, but for safety reasons I’d rather not.
