Does anyone know of any trails in the region that have been cleared yet? Maybe resources are still being utilized for roads, but I would hope eventually some trails would be cleared too.

That's not where it goes, find somewhere else to put your snow. What you're doing runs counter to efforts to clear the roads, and diminishes public safety.

Every time I see a neatly shoveled driveway next a pile of snow in the road, all I see is the work of a self-entitled individual who thinks their private property is more important than than public roadways used by everyone else. Come on people, you can do better.

With tube amps the sweet spot for me is having it dialed in so the sound is clean with normal playing, but close enough to the edge that if I dig in or play chords I can get frank distortion. Having played with an amp set up this way for many years, electronic distortion that is applied similarly at all volumes just doesn't feel the same.

What amplifiers or pedals successfully emulate the dynamic response of a tube amp in this regard?

I'm playing in a musical that calls for an octave pedal, and the Aguilar Octamizer I bought is not tracking well on the B string. And let me tell you, it is bad: like blatant half tone shifts while holding a note, just totally unacceptable. As it stands now I wouldn't even bring this pedal to rehearsal, it is too much of a liability.

Which octave pedals have others found to be good for tracking the lower notes on a bass, and which have you had trouble with? Are there any strategies for improving the tracking accuracy?
