Best way to use Muse as a personal assistant without giving it all your personal information?
Went from Luna ExHigh and Sol Medium on Plus and Pro to Astra Medium then Astra Max on Pro. Astra Max running for about 6 hours a day, runs about 1-3 hours “autonomously” usually. Burns about 25% usage per day. Workflows include security audits, refactoring, optimizations, website workflows. I spent massive amounts of time trying to make codex token efficient before Astra was ever released. Astra Pro seems really suitable to working with GitHub, large repositories, etc - and I do think it uses less tokens compared to Sol in large and long running workloads. So far Astra seems underwhelming at small tasks (not really noticeable improvement over Sol) but gets work done like 15-40% better over
How do you get research done when you’ve run out of deep research prompts? How is your experience with performing research in regular chat using a nearly identical deep research style prompt? Interested if anyone else does a lot of research, evaluations, and comparisons in Chat.
I use consensus a lot, I have Ramp Data and Midpage legal but they’re not used as much.
I got this message on the weekend during off peak hours while using Sol High. WTF is wrong with OpenAI what’s the point of this 5hr bullshit just for Codex to completely STOP working and give me this BS message. I changed the reasoning level and told it to continue - it wasted so much time because I didn’t realize codex had stopped for no reason ugh
I’ve had it do all of the following:
- blurt out answers instantly with no thinking
- forget what we just did in the prompt before
- forget that it has tool access and claim it can’t complete the task due to no tools, no connectors, no active plugin, etc - every single time the connector/plugin/tool was available and working properly. Chat just didn’t reason or make a real attempt, again just spitting out a response saying “I can’t do this, due to X reason” - when that reason is false, due to stale state - most concerning is that Sol gives up, provides no useful solution or reason for the failure, and I then have to figure it out myself.
- 25% of the time re-prompting works, but
What’s the best web browser and configuration for Codex cli to perform web browser tasks? It has wrangler skill, considering Chrome, Edge, Brave, or Opera. I have ChatGPT Desktop with computer use on - Google Chrome connection/plugin doesn’t work. This is a dedicated AI workstation with mostly empty environment and browsers. I want Codex to sort my GitHub started repositories for example - the plugin doesn’t let it do that, it needed a web browser and just started using Edge. Not sure if there’s a more optimal browser use setup.
Sharing my current Qwen3.8 setup. Curious what you all think - goal was an efficient configuration suitable for real-world tasks. I’d say it’s “balanced” but I’m open to suggestions. 4080Super, 32GB DDR4 Max context I could get was 59-67k but it suffered performance-wise and with a small amount of memory left, down to 104miB, so I kept the context around 41k.
Qwen3.8-27B-UD-IQ3_S.gguf (GGUF) setup
Model: Qwen3.8-27B-UD-IQ3_S.gguf
Context: 40,960 tokens
Runtime: LM Studio
GPU offload: Enabled
Mode: Single-model runtime
Inference: Fully local
Main uses: Reasoning, coding help, and general productivity
Love Qwen3.8 so far. It didn’t work great f
