I've been playing on manual w/clutch for a long time and I think my experience has always been that the controller does not start vibrating until the rev reaches the redline.
However, for some reason after some race yesterday it suddenly starts to vibrate even before reaching the redline. For example, my NSX has a redline at 8000 rpm. Previously it stayed smooth until 8000 started vibrating more and more as you go past 8000, but now the threshold becomes 7000 for me. So my controller vibrates like crazy every time I shift at redline, which is very annoying.
I'm not sure if this is a bug or a controller issue. I wonder if anyone has encountered this before.
