I had no experience with guys, so my best friend set me up with a guy (23M) she barely knew. She said he was perfect for me and such a good guy. I went out with him a few times, but he treated me badly and made so many hurtful comments. Whenever I tried to leave, he would hurt himself so I could stay.

I booked a hotel room for a sleepover with my best friend. I told her I was scared he might show up, and she reassured it won’t happen. He did show up, and she wasn’t there. I begged her to come and get me away from him and she didn’t, even though she was a block away. Her excuse was that she had to finish her university work. He held me down whenever I tried to leave and did some stuff to me

My dad has such an interesting life story, and I wanna document it through oral history. I’m planning on walking him through old historical sites so it can trigger old memories. But I’ve never conducted an interview before, so what are some tips do you have? I’d also appreciate any additional advice to make it more meaningful.

I also wanna preserve it long term so it becomes a lasting part of my family’s history. What are some ways I can properly organize, store, and protect it?

I’m a 21 year old female who’s looking to go on an adventurous quest. I want to travel somewhere unexpected and learn a hobby for a certification that I will never use, but I’m not sure what. Do you have any recommendations?

My favorite movies are Psycho, Eyes Without a face and Rosemary’s Baby. I’m looking for suggestions for older horror films, preferably from 1920s to 1970s. I’m open to movies from any film industry.

I want to become knowledgeable in antiques so I can make better decisions when shopping online, but I have limited access to antique stores in my city, so I can’t really gain hands on experience. What are some ways to identify the authenticity, quality, and value of an antique piece without seeing it in person?

I’m 21 and considering getting a classic car like 1950s cadillac as my first car. I want to use it everyday which I’m not sure if that’s realistic. I also live in a desert where it gets extremely hot, especially in summer, and although I’ve seen a lot of classic cars in my city, I’m not sure how well older cars can handle that kind of climate.

I’ve always loved classic cars and the look of it, and I don’t really like modern cars. However, I have zero knowledge about cars; I don’t know about maintenance, engines, or anything technical but I’m willing to learn. I have so much doubts about this, but a part of me is still drawn to the idea of it. Should I go for it and is this something I can m

Five years ago, my best friends went behind my back and created multiple hate accounts and group chats about me on Instagram. They posted all my photos, made edits, compared me to animals, and constantly sent messages saying I was ugliest girl in the world and that I should die. It went on for about a year, and I was dealing with it every single day. What made it harder was that I didn’t feel supported by the adults around me at the time.

I’m in university now, but I still haven’t fully moved past it. Whenever that period gets brought up, I feel the same anger and hurt all over again, like it never really left which is so frustrating.

I made some bad decisions like cutting off friends for no reason, getting tattoos, drinking, smoking, and etc. When I try to talk about them in therapy, it feels like they get explained away as just my depression or bipolar tendencies. I’m not sure but I feel like my actual actions aren’t being acknowledged by my therapist, like everything is being blamed on the diagnosis instead.

Does depression and bipolar really influence my behavior that much? I’m struggling to understand how much of this is the diagnosis and how much is me, and I don’t want my actions to just be explained away.

I cut off my friends because I felt mistreated, but I didn’t explain anything at the time because I didn’t know how to handle it. I can see how my actions hurt them, even if it was never my intention, and that has been weighting on me so much.

I don’t know how to deal with the guilt without letting it consume me, and I don’t know how to move forward knowing I hurt people I cared about. How does someone deal with the fact that they messed up and hurt people? I’d appreciate advice on this, rather than opinions on what I did wrong.

My best friend (20F) has been in an on-and-off relationship with a guy for years, and it honestly feels like a never-ending cycle. He hurts her, leaves, then comes back, and she lets him back in every time. Even when she tries to move on and see other people, she somehow always ends up back with him. She really believes he’s the love of her life, but from the outside, I can’t help but feel like she deserves so much better.

What makes the situation even harder is that she’s currently in a relationship with another guy who is genuinely good to her and treats her well. But whenever her ex comes back into her life, she cheats on her boyfriend with him. Neither of them knows about the other, whi
