I'm writing this as my downloaders are increasingly getting "this video is private" messages. Not all of them get this treatment although the channel has just literally disappeared on Youtube: https://www.youtube.com/user/appleactionews

How you can help

If you read this message within ~12 hours, you can help rescue a couple more of the videos. (yes indeed, you still can!)

Help no longer needed: explanation, you can read the Edits. If you know someone who has archived parts of the channel, tell them to get in touch, we're still missing thousands of videos.

Now this will definitely take some time to restore ;)

Honourable mention: Mr. f, I noticed your attempt, and honestly it's a good one, almost missed it.

There still remain hundreds of posts removed from the past at the time of writing, I will take care of it. These guys clearly had fun ^_^

Cheers and ask me anything if you want

Edit/PS: Forgot to mention: old-reddit's styles were restored.

Firefox: 85.0b5

Imagus: v0.9.8.74

This started a couple months ago (late november?)

Under VERY RARE circumstances, Imagus would begin to gobble up all in-tab key strokes as its own hotkey input, whenever I tried to type something.

Yes, it is Imagus, as toggling it in Addons immediately stopped that behaviour. Reloading the tab with F5 also did reset this non-sense. It's as if Imagus begins and continues to think I'm hovering over some image (not true)

So far this happened to me on: Discord (probably worst offender, as in most frequent), Reddit and Youtube.

My settings:

Display delay: 300ms

Reset delay on mouse-move: ✔

For some technical reasons you may want to. Here's a short guide, Linux:

Normally you can see the IP by simply pinging the domain, but Minecraft implemented an additional feature, allowing actual servers to be hosted elsewhere, different to the domain name:

dig SRV _minecraft._tcp.2b2t.org

Dissection:

  • dig is the command to ask DNS servers for a response
  • SRV asks for a "SRV" record (MX - Email record, A - IPv4 address, AAAA - IPv6)
  • _minecraft - service type
  • _tcp - protocol
  • 2b2t.org - the server domain you're given

What local Point-of-Presence* did I get in response? *(My client will connect to that server that'll forward my connection)
