So, I work in Texas as a professor at a private English college. There are 34 students in my class, and classes are 4.5 hours each, Monday to Thursday. As you can imagine, in addition to our other outside work, this keeps my partner and I very busy with lesson planning, grading, and providing thorough feedback on assignments to help our students improve. We signed on to teach 18 hours a week, Monday to Thursday, plus 2 extra hours for planning (yes, a piddly 30 minutes a day for planning & grading for 34 students). It's a fairly standard part-time, 20hrs/wk employment.

Here's the problem (tl;dr below)

Obviously, planning and grading often takes more than 30 minutes a day. In fact, it

I'm currently digging through online bits stores, and I was curious if Ironstrider Skitarii drivers are the right size to fit onto the Serberys dogs for a money-saving kitbash. I'm planning on greenstuffing the scarfs.

From memory, the legs and cloaks of the Ironstrider Skitarii are approximately the same shape as the Serberys riders, but I don't have my models on-hand, so I can't compare them myself. Could someone please check and get back to me? I'd prefer if someone could dry fit the bits together, but sizing the built models up side-by-side helps too.

I just swapped my Da Vinci Jr. 1.0 Pro's nozzle out for the optional 3mm nozzle. However, when I attempt to print anything, the filament will not extrude, even though the printer is obviously trying to print the object in question. I'm using the default PLA filament that came with the printer.

I noticed the firmware was out of date (XYZPrint says my version is 1.0.0, current version is 1.1.9), so I clicked the button to update it. However, when the update finished, XYZPrint then told me the "Firmware version is already updated." (See here)

My printer status remained set to "Busy," and I was unable to work with it further. Furthermore, the window on the printer

First things first: I'm trying to build a horde of grots, but I'd like to avoid paying the Big GW Bucks, especially for the same 10 copy-pasted models over and over, not to mention I don't want a billion runtherds. I've considered Gnoblars from Fantasy/AoS, but I'm unsure about how well the quality of the sculpt holds up. I also have a box of AoS Moonclan Grots, but I don't want all of them to look like cultists, and converting them to better fit the 40k aesthetic/weaponry is a pain.

Does anyone have suggestions for 3rd party options, preferably something cheaper and/or that comes in higher quantities than the standard GW box of 10? I've looked around and haven't had much luck. (Bits of W
