TL;DR - I guess my questions are as follows: Is it normal to burn/lose 1qt of oil within an oil change cycle (somewhere around 7500 miles)? If this amount of oil burn/loss is normal, is there a certain interval I should be adding oil (just when it's low or at a certain mileage)? Is there something I'm doing wrong, or is there an easier way to check thin oil on a dipstick? Am I wrong to tighten the filter on as hard as I can with my hands if it seems to be helping with the filter leaking? Do you have any suggestions or questions for me? Extra information: Is it possible to get a foreign ditto? If that counts as foreign + local = higher shiny chance. I was also wonder if these dittos are shiny or not? Would just make it easier to pick out of a group of dittos.
