If I take something like VOO, and just decide that i want to withdraw 4% of my total updated VOO value per year, am I essentially doing a manual dividend?

Are there any functional differences aside from obviously the manual work in my brokerage required to do this?

I’m sure you guys have dealt with someone like this before, they come in with a low offer, you counteroffer, and then they get kind of offended and start talking about how your item isn’t worth that much. Then you just say “no thanks” and they get REALLY offended.

At this point in my view they are likely to leave a negative review and call you a scammer or something. Is there any way to head this off at all? Does blocking them right then and there stop them from leaving a review?

With the Discords that are able to access and display meta data - we are able to see preorder limits on specific items. I thought it would be interesting to compile these and make some inferences about likely print runs.

I don’t think this data can be used to tell us the exact print runs of a PC ETB, but it likely does give us information about the sets relative to each other.

I wear glasses and occasionally contacts with a pretty strong astigmatism. Today while I was watching TV, I very suddenly had a large circular artifact appear in my right eye, where the entire center of my vision was blurred/warped, with hazy light rays extending out in a circle around it. My left eye was completely fine but this weird artifact took up the entire center of vision in my right eye.

There was no irritation at all, it just suddenly appeared. I removed my glasses, blinked hard several times and after about 30 seconds it disappeared instantly. Didn’t fade away or anything, was just instantly gone.

And most of these sales are going to newbies with zero or very few other paid avatars.

Obviously not a guarantee, but it makes me happy to think about in these dark times. I can imagine the collective indignation, the Twitter threads, the outraged talking heads. Like the collective tears and rage from the hockey purist crowd would just be incredible to witness.

That thought will give me so much joy in the next few years. Especially if they win the land auction.

My neighbor just mentioned him and his 6 year old son are going to the game next week.

It’s going to be rowdy, explicit, there are probably going to be a few fights among people in the stands. There are going to be profane chants, people are going to be throwing stuff on the ice.

Probably leave your kids at home for this one, you don’t want them to remember the Coyotes like this. Go with some buddies instead for the mayhem.

Dont bring your kid and be the one complaining afterwards that things got out of hand. We already know things are going to get out of hand. People are pissed off and emotional, it won’t be a good time for a younger child.

Amazon has boxes for MSRP as well but a lot of people here don’t like using Amazon, and the boxes wont actually ship until close to the end of the month.

I just got back from my LGS and they are fresh out of booster boxes, though they still have the 2 player starters. Asked the owner and he says that’s all he expects to get until later this Summer.

I just checked online though and seems like there is still a good amount of boxes for under MSRP from places like gamenerdz.

I’m just curious is your store sold out? Seems weird for my LGS to be sold out but still a lot online.

Regular 8 pack Fusion Strike ETBs are around $35 - $40 and PC exclusive 10 pack ETBs are still on Pokemon Center for $50.

Do these represent a good buying opportunity considering the booster boxes have been on an absolute tear?

Try the new Star Wars game, Star Wars Unlimited. They printed a metric ton of booster boxes and even though box sales are absolutely nuts on TCGplayer, there is still an abundance of boxes below MSRP at about $95. Scalpers in shambles.

Not to mention the game is incredibly fun.

They know how to run and print a game properly. Give it a try and take a break from OP until Bandai sorts out the printing issues.

I opened two boxes that I preordered but prices are obviously a little too high rn at $200 or whatever to open any more.

Does anyone know an LGS that can give an idea of how large the restock will be, or if it will be big enough to bring prices down to a reasonable level?
