The feeling you get when you leave a place you've been in for some time, when you graduate from school, when you leave a job, when you experience a great change in your life and you know you cannot return to what was there before.
This is really nothing important, but it bugged me a bit when I was looking at the Targaryen family tree.
In the first versions of AGOT, Viserys II is described as "fourth son of Aegon III" in the appendix. In the latter versions, and in the WikiOIAF, Viserys is described as "brother to Aegon III".
Is there really any reason to change this? Or did GRRM smoothed some details over that might mess up the timeline?
When reading the books, I'm a bit disturbed that Rhaegar, who was painted as honorable, smart (at least bookish), and an all-around good guy, did a terrible job by abducting Lyanna. Robert said that he was a kidnapper and a rapist. But Ned not saying anything bad about Rhaegar in his chapters, and at times even painting him in a good light, makes me think that there might be more to this. Lyanna could have said something to Ned in the Tower of Joy that clued him in.
So, we know that Rhaegar was bookish and wasn't into swordfighting when he was younger. This changed when he read one of his books in Summerhall, which I'm assuming is the prophecy of The Prince that was Promised, or The Song
My sister uploaded her model in Shapeways, how can she know if the model is hollow or not? (more in comments)
