I LITERALLY JUST listened to Will Wood for the first time (45 mins ago) after spotify recommended The Normal Album. I have to say it's flawless. I absolutely love every song on there and will definitely be listening to the rest of his stuff :)

I wanted to give massive respect to the people who contributed to the Genius annotations on the album. These guys are actually writing short novels about the songs. almost every lyric is annotated in extreme detail and it really added to the first time listening experience.

How you have arrived here is beyond me but here you are.

This is one of the only posts that will ever be made here that isn't comprised of randomly generated material.

All randomness is welcome here: random numbers, text, colours, absolutely anything random.

BUT... It must be truly random. Randomness is defined as an outcome that can't be predicted or that has no predictable pattern.

Randomness is not always uniform. This means that each individual outcome may not have the same likelihood of occurring but this is still random.

Hi! I did a similar post a while ago about random numbers and decided to do one with random text. I know the library isn't technically random as each book is unique and with randomness, there is no guarantee of this happening.

The following is a section of output from a java program I wrote to output random text (letters only but it can be VERY easily adapted to produce any typeable character). Look at the comments for how the code works if you're interested (feel free to DM me if you want the raw code :) enjoy)

see if you can spot any full words in there. I'm assuming there will be a lot of words like 'no' and 'it' but it will be interesting to see how long of a word there is in there. co

I actually had a dream about Harambe

I was in Cornwall in England with my dad and we were walking along some cliffs.

We came across a massive statue of Harambe's head that said 'Harambe, gone but never forgotten' at the base.

I had to explain to my dad who Harambe was and that this little shit of a kid got him killed.

I was then offered a job at a garden centre which didn't really fit in with the plot tbh.

Then I woke up and was like "the actual fuck was that"

Just curious of the age range of the people here :)

Spotify discover weekly is one of the best things ever created. a significant amount of the music on my main playlist comes from discover weekly or artists/ albums I found because of discover weekly. It first exposed me to ELO beyond Mr. Blue Sky and I was addicted immediately. ELO was my favourite band ever for a long time.

One week (about a year ago) I saw a song on there: "Dream Sweet In Sea Major". I thought that sounded pretty cool and when it came to the front of the queue I was blown away. I immediately listened to Hawaii Part II and loved it. Listened to variations on a cloud, Found out Joe Hawley was behind it from Tally Hall. I already had Banana Man on my playlist but hadn't list
