I'm non union, not represented, so it's just me submitting for breakdowns on Actors Access and Backstage. A couple times I've been invited to send in a tape, but the sides were much different than what I expected, or gave me a weird vibe, and I sent a note saying I was no longer available for the dates.

I'm wondering whether other beginners are doing the same or if everyone is just trying to book anything and everything. I don't get a ton of invites to audition so I feel kinda dumb for talking myself out of consideration.

I'm not a Brig main but I've been playing her some recently. Hopped on last night and obviously faced a few new-Hogs. I don't really understand the changes to his gun, all I know is he was fucking shredding me, including my shield, from midrange. His old secondary fire was very powerful IF and only if you stood at the exact distance the projectile burst. Does the new gun work the same way, and I was just standing in that sweet spot? Or is his poke just improved overall?

What does this mean for the Yankees?

For context: I'm a low Plat solo queue Tank player who primarily uses pings to communicate, to preserve what remains of my mental health. And I've been a flex player since OW1, so while I agree that rock-paper-scissors swapping isn't always the answer, it usually works pretty well for me.

Yesterday on Colosseo I faced an enemy squad running:

*Ramattra *Pharah *Mercy *Bastion *Kiriko

I ran through my usual mental flow chart and hit walls. When I see Bastion, I usually go Sigma, but the Pharmercy and Ramattra were chunking me down, since I needed all my cooldowns for Bastion. When I see Pharmercy, I usually think I'll dive the other Support. But Kiriko is too slippery and then I'm face to

Maybe not the right sub for this, but I'm posting here instead of the main sub so I can get replies that aren't "small indie company battlepass PvE". But there is something odd I noticed about some player profiles in OW2.

I'll see someone ended Silver DPS one season, then the next season it says they're Plat. Which is fine. But when I look at their DPS heroes individually, none of them have a winning record, or it works out to like two wins over .500 somehow equating to a three rank climb.

I know new accounts have more volatility to their MMR, but aren't they still subject to Wins and Losses above all else? I don't remember noticing this in OW1.

I am a screenwriter who has been mulling a career change, and have fallen into a rabbit hole after finding this career after searching for "writer" on a government job site. I looked up the NCRA classes and they had one with a registration deadline of "today", so I jumped in, basically on a whim. I've never even considered this before yesterday.

Were you an above average QWERTY typist before starting? A piano prodigy? Extremely gifted at retaining spoken word? I basically want to know whether you thought you'd be good at this, and whether you were correct. I have some of the natural skills required I think, but also can think of some traits that may hinder me, and I'm curious.

I'm renting

Both Busan Downtown and Meka Base especially, the point is on low ground while the first fight almost always takes place on high ground. I cannot count the number of first fights I have lost because someone sees the point has unlocked and just leaves the active fight to cap. Now down a player, we get rolled, they drop down and kill your dumb solo ass, and take point for real, actually setting up a defense because they have a full squad. But hey we got 8% thanks for that bud.

Believe it or not, being on the objective is sometimes not the smart play.
