I saw some Indian users in this subreddit. When did you guys apply? Do you know if they still accept indian applicants?

I had applied for a role a week ago. But I couldn't attend the interview as something unexpected and urgent came up. Last day, I recieved an email which was a final call for the interview. I couldn't take it then.
I'm available to take it now. Does anyone know if it can still be taken? Do I have to reapply for the same role?
I was hoping do to self study this year and if possible take an actual course next year. I don't have the time to attend live classes so I prefer recorded lectures, to learn at my own pace.
Is it better to just use YT resources or is worth subscribing to PW Pi? It costs 299 for monthly subscription, while it's 199 for yearly subscription. What's your take, guys?
I got invited to a certain project, whose requirements are higher than my skillsets. Also, it is heavily underpaid, even for someone not so skilled enough for the project. I was invited within 12hrs of account creation. So, is there any way I could request for a change of domain to generalist? Is it possible? Will this current invite expire? And if I proceed with the onboarding for this one, will failing this affect my account negatively?
I recieved an invitation on LinkedIn for "AI Evaluation Specialist (India)". Although it's an ad, do you think joining via that link would grant instant access to projects? The site address was like:
app.joinhandshake.com
Is it the og site? I also heard that many ppl from India are facing some verification or tax form issues. What exactly is that? Can anyone summarise the overall process to get in?
I'm trying to join Mercor. But I heard they require highly invasive monitoring software to be installed and that it takes screenshots of our desktop? Also, there was a recent data breach too right? All these made me a little hesitant to sign up.
From what I've heard, they kinda data farm us, collecting too much information for a remote task job. (I'm trying for a part-time role tho)
What do you guys think? I'm confused whether to continue with my application or not
Anyone, student or graduate, please help me.
How much did you guys score?
Is it hard to get hostel accommodation in CUSAT? What if a student lives like 16-17 km away but wants hostel. And, how is the hostel accommodation process done? Is there reservation in this too?
I came across Make-a-ton, which seems to be a hackathon hosted by CUSAT, but apart from that, I couldn’t find much detailed info online. So I had a few questions in mind that I couldn't find clear answers to:
- Is the coding culture active beyond that event?
- Are there active tech clubs or events like coding competitions and regular hackathons on campus?
- Do students get to attend external hackathons or receive support (financial or academic) for it?
- How are the classrooms, labs, and overall infrastructure in reality?
- What’s the current state of hostels - facilities, cleanliness, Wi-Fi, and any recent changes?
Would appreciate genuine answers from current students or alumni. Thanks!
