The OmniGlow is girthy at 17mm but most channels are are meant to accommodate ~12mm lightstrips. They also usually have their own diffuser so an OmniGlow would get double diffused. Anyone know of an ideal channel/profile for the OmniGlow? Can it go straight into ceiling drywall and look okay without a mount via its own silicon jacket? I was considering other lightstrips as well but the OmniGlow is by far the brightest Hue offers and i'd be using it as primary lighting throughout the home for a new renovation. Thanks!
For the sake of argument, let's take everything that's been explained to us at face value. That would mean joining the hive is something akin to true enlightenment. You suddenly have the thoughts and experiences of over 7 billion lives. This fills you with a profound inner peace and understanding far beyond what any single person could hope to achieve. Imagine how good it would feel to be even just one human consciousness experiencing such a thing. Now imagine you have that feeling 7 billion fold. It's a truly heavenly feeling that you could never have even comprehended as a single individual. Pleasure beyond belief. 7 billion people all coming together to truly understand each other, and th
Current party wall is about 6"/15cm thick with wooden studs and making it a thicker isn't an option in this case. Since there's no room for an air cavity, do we just double down on mass? Could we do:
5/8 Type X <> Mass Loaded Vinyl<> 5/8 Type X <> Rockwool Safe n Sound <> 5/8 Type X <> Mass Loaded Vinyl <> 5/8 Type X
Would Green Glue be worth adding to this? Do I have the order of the layering right? Should we spring for Sheetrock/SilentFX/ over typeX?
It's two living rooms being separated so the whole frequency range is in consideration, including sound from subwoofers. We're targeting an STC rating of at least 50, 60+ would be great if possible, though.
Thank you!
It seems like almost all motorized mounts drop a TV vertically from fireplace height to eye level. In my case, the TV would already be eye level but I might want to bring it forward to make the screen bigger or bring it forward and rotate it to face a dining table. Something like this, but can be bought at retail: https://www.tvlift.com/moving-wall-mounts/
Any suggestions? Thanks!
Hi all,
If I closed on April 1st 2025, and had renovations done until the end of January 2026, would I be able to withdraw money for closing now, add 4k to my FSHA on January 1st 2026, then immediately withdraw it to pay for the last of the renovations then move in January 2nd 2026? If not, could I not use it for closing, add 4k on Jan 1st 2026 to hit the 40k limit, then immediately use it to pay for renovations and move in on January 2nd 2026? Thanks!
I've never seen such a large deviation from a 50% win rate in any league/region configuration on nonapa before, and it's hugely different from even just last season: https://nonapa.com/balance?season=60&rank=6&map=all
Might be a bug in the reporting or something? We're also deep into the season so the sample size should be large.
Hi all,
I make digital business cards (https://sitch.cards). I want to give Realtors that use our card the ability to show their listings as one of the pages on their profile. Imagine a listings page on the menu here: https://sitch.app/s/UNchcB0. I've heard of stuff like IDX Broker but before I pay this developer fee I want to make sure I'm looking at the right platform for both the US/Canadian markets. Is this the best option for what I'm trying to do? Thanks!
We already have family agent that can bid/close for us but they live kind of far away. We would love to pay a local agent to help us with viewings exclusively in the downtown Toronto area. Are there any agents/brokerages that provide this as a service? It's a weird ask but I figure something like this might exist!
The Pixel 8 pro is 1344 x 2992 pixels, 20:9 ratio (~489 PPI density), while the Pixel 7 Pro is 1440 x 3120 pixels, 19.5:9 ratio (~512 PPI density).
Both are "retina", so in practical usage this just means some super fine detail (1px borders, hairs in photos) won't be as thin or resolve fully. So it's not a big deal, and it should bump battery life 0.1% or something. I just wish they put the cost savings from both this and the uncurved screen into an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor, or UFS 4.0 etc.
What are your thoughts?
