Sebastian from Sidephone here, we're actively working on the feature set/overall design for Sidephone. We'd really would love to hear how actual dumbphone users are using their devices. We want to build something truly special (and genuinely useful) for the community, so if anyone can share how they're using their dumbphone of choice in their life right now, we super appreciate it!

The poll is to get a general sense of use cases, but please feel free to comment your current setup and use case.

Hello! My name is Sebastian Snell, I've been the lead (and at times, sole) developer for Ghost Phone devices for ~2.5 years now. Outside of that, I've been working with android apps and operating systems for about five years (plus a few more, if messing around on XDA forums as a teen counts for anything).

I'm very happy to announce Chris and I are partnering on Sidephone! I'll be handling most of the OS and app development, and am very curious to hear what the community is hoping for on the software side of things.

We're most likely going to have a small app store/market hosted by us on the Sidephone, much like the one currently on the two most recent models of Ghost Phone (there will not

Unfortunately didn't manage to get a picture. It was ~4 inches long, reasonably thick, grey with a triangular head. It had a slightly translucent appearance. Didn't seem to have proper feet like an insect would, was shuffling around on something like a bunch of slug "feet."

Apologize if this is super vague and for the lack of photo. Just been driving me crazy all day, swear I saw it in a book when I was a kid or something.

Mainly looking for insights from people in the US. I run a small AOSP-based dumbphone company, and have had some interesting conversations with people on what they think should be included on the device.

As of right now we're including

  • Maps
  • Notes
  • Calendar
  • Music Player
  • Weather
  • Basic utilities like camera, clock, messages, phone, calculator, etc.

A not-insignificant number of people have told me a lack of email is a dealbreaker for them, but these are also people who aren't entirely sold on the feature phone idea to begin with.

Curious as to what everyone's thoughts are on email on a dumbphone.

What's a dealbreaker for you on a dumbphone, and what features would

Prices lowered because I want these gone. Cleaning and clearing out, have since moved on to other hobbies. Worth noting that as far as I can test in my house, these are functional, but they have not been fielded for about a year. I am open to offers.

Bought this from a prominent airsoftsniperforum user a few years ago, if that means anything to you. I can send you links to his posts with it, and exactly how he did things if you're interested

These guns have always been good to me, especially the glocks. I hate to see them go, but unfortunately I'm largely moving on from airsoft now.

JAG Arms HI-Capa 4.3 + hardshell holster + maple leaf hop up + 3 Extended and 3 standard mags + extras

Essentially new, bought recently and used only for target practice. Works great, shoots as well as any other hi capa I've used. Mag release is a little stiff. Light scratching on the barrel from me being a moron while removing orange tip, but other than that is pristine. Comes with the stock pistol unjamming rod and speedloader.

Mags all work great! The extended are

SOLD!

I have a TM MK23 for sale, complete with LAM, suppressor, and original hardcase. I have used it a few times in matches, several more for target practice, and it performed beautifully, it really lives up to the MK23 hype. I just haven't been able to play in months, and have moved on to other things (motorcycles, specifically).

Functionally it is flawless, and I can provide a firing video upon request.

Cosmetically, the original owner had the trades covered with electrical tape and some sort of super glue to get it past customs.

It does peel and scrape off with out any damage to the gun/trades, and I have

I’ll be joining a local rec paintball group in the next couple weeks, and am looking for a marker. I’ve heard good things about pumps, how they make you a better player, help snapshot practice, result in far less paint being used, etc.

I’m aware of the disadvantages too, but I still feel a strong pull towards pumps.

My question is, is a marker like the Empire Sniper more gas efficient than a more traditional semi-auto marker, and would it be feasible to run a 13ci tank with one?

I know a standard semi-auto would be lucky to get 100 shots with a 13/3000 tank, but I’m curious if any pumps improve on that number.

Any other beginner advice is appreciated!

Title pretty much says it. I don't care much about the brand or size, as long as it takes standard hi capa magazines. Ideally runs just fine, but I'm pretty techy and have a boneyard hi capa, and can handle most issues.

Looking for a revolver, preferably something "classy" like a Dan Wesson, and with a 4-6in barrel. But I'm open to a lot of different revolvers, if you have something you're looking to sell.
