She's turning 60 this year, making around $45k a year with about $15k in credit card debt and getting eaten alive by interest. As I understand it, a debt management plan would significantly reduce the interest she's paying on these cards.

She's open to the idea, but very concerned with how the card accounts would be closed at the end of repayment as part of the plan agreement. Questions on that:

  • Would the cards being closed be considered a negative on her credit report? Or since she'll be paying the balance in total as part of the agreement, would that be considered "good standing"?
  • Would closing the cards make it meaningfully harder to get new ones in the near future compared to just

Left thaumcraft pretty much to the end of my SB2 playthrough only to find I can't craft anything in the crucible - recipes for nitor and tallow won't complete, even when throwing in the exact requirements (via pure vis crystals) and catalyst items. I do have the research prerequisites.

Anyone know what's up here? I found one or two mentions of this elsewhere online but no solutions.

I'm trying to flesh out a modpack concept but having trouble finding the right world gen/dimension mod. Ideally it would be like the old Deep Dark from Extra Utilities, that being one big cavern with large pillars, but with variable terrain rather than a flat landscape, water & lava lakes, and flora like mushrooms. Is there anything like that out there?

(Would prefer it to be in a newer version but willing to go back as far as 1.12 for the perfect mod)

I've got an idea for a Modpack kicking around and I'd like to learn a little more about the process of making one to see how viable it is. I know there's stuff in the sidebar for mod development—are there any good guides specifically for pack making?

Starting a modded minecraft server for me and my siblings to play on and trying to figure out which pack to run. I'm looking for something middle-ground—My sister isn't very good at video games, so nothing too complicated (i.e. no expert packs) but still has some meat on the bone for me and my brother to enjoy (so no vanilla+). She'll be playing on a 2015 MacBook Air, so lightweight is very important.

FTB Academy/University is probably the first suggestion, but having tried both of them out I don't like how they skip over the early game to get to teaching about the mods (especially since I can just teach them myself) and I'd like a good suite of dimensions for us to explore through.

Looking to take advantage of the microcenter free RAM bundle + $20 off a motherboard with the new Ryzen 7000s. Is there a favorite/best value option? Only real special requirement is 2 PCIE 4.0 M.2 slots which pretty much all of them seem to have.

Been playing through Last Light and really enjoying it, at least until I got hit with the bug preventing you from performing takedowns from "Bandits" onward. Is there any fix? So far I've tried:

  • Disabling cloud sync and deleting 2034_auto_save, 2034_I07_tunnel.player and 2034_I07_tunnel_2.player, then replaying from "Revolution" as suggested here
  • Avoiding killing spiders in "Regina" with light and instead doing the knife finisher or shooting them as also suggested in that thread
  • Not knocking out the last armored enemy in "Revolution" as suggested [here](https://steamcommunity.com/app/287390/discussions/1/152390
