Racking up college credit is addicting.
Feel free to ask any questions below, but here is a (very short) summary of the tests and my preparation for them:
Introductory Psychology: I studied the big topics and not the details. That's all you need to pass this exam. Make sure you know the theories and the theorists of this time.
Introductory Sociology: Spent less than 2 days studying this one. It was very easy, it is mostly just putting names to phenomena that we encounter in our daily lives
College Mathematics: This is where I started using free-clep-prep
How does TESU accept AP credit? Their website doesn't say they grant credit for specific classes but rather they just give you credit hours. What?
I couldn't find a figure online. I'm not looking for specific numbers, I just want to know the general gist.
Hi,
I am an Indiana resident looking to fly commercially. I understand many people may be tempted to dissuade me from choosing to major in aviation, but I was just wanting to get a variety of inputs.
I was wondering if it's realistic to get an A.S at Vincennes university. Based on information from their website, it'd run me about $120,000. Their website promotes the ability to transfer those credits to Purdue University to get a bachelor's degree. I was wondering the specifics of what that means. What type of degree would I get from Purdue if I were to transfer those credits? Is it worth it? Should I just get my bachelor's online?
I appreciate any information y'all could provide.
Tooling around with one of the 550 ELO bots. How is this a brilliant move?
I'm a Wells Fargo customer, but I am moving to Michigan which has no Wells Fargo branches. Wells Fargo also doesn't have any partner ATMs AFAIK. I have to make frequent cash deposits and withdrawals of small dollar amounts ($100>). Is it possible to stay with them for the convenience, or should I switch to a local credit union?
New official here. My league provides general guidelines for what should be checked before games but doesn't provide a list of talking points or a script that an official should say at the coin toss. What do you, as an official or coach yourself, normally hear when the captain meet?
Thinking of getting a lenovo slim with a snapdragon CPU and wanted to make sure that things like CRC and Audio for Vatsim will work fine on ARM.
- Total budget (in local currency) and country of purchase. Please do not use USD unless purchasing in the US: $500-850
- Are you open to refurbs/used? Yes
- How would you prioritize form factor (ultrabook, 2-in-1, etc.), build quality, performance, and battery life? Build quality is important to me. I need it to be quick, but it doesn't have to be able to game. Battery life is also important.
- How important is weight and thinness to you? I do NOT want anything bulky.
- Do you have a preferred screen size? If indifferent, put N/A. N/A
- Are you doing any CAD/video editing/photo editing/gaming? List which programs/games you desire to run. Normal productivity apps.

I'm aware that the Crucial X9 Pro is a very good external ssd, having good transfer speeds and a small form factor. What I need is a 1TB external SSD. I was wondering if there was a combination of NVME SSD and an NVME enclosure that could compete with that drive on speed and/or cost. My laptop has a thunderbolt 4 USB-C port, if that matters.
Someone griefed Vogler's page on the house wiki. Pretty funny
I often hear the advice to not chase training but rather choose the ARTCC you want to control in. However, for me, this advice isn't useful because I have absolutely no preference in where I'd like to control. I hear some ARTCC's have little instructor capacity and am looking for an ARTCC that will get me at least my S1 in a reasonable amount of time. I recognize that this is a volunteer organization, I am just hoping for some insight from someone who is either an instructor or has recently gone through the practice and can recommend an ARTCC
If I wanted to fly the Eviation Alice on the network, could I? What type code would I connect with? If the type isn't available in my pilot client, should I just connect with a similar sized aircraft and specify its equipment in the flight plan page?
