Found an old GW330 I thought I'd lost ages ago and it still seems to work (will see if it holds a charge) but the rubbery bits have started to get sticky and some parts are crumbling off. Is there an easy way to get replacement shells? Mostly just finding band replacements online.
I was looking at the refreshed Emotiva speaker lineup (Airmotiv X) out of curiosity and the XC1/XC2 have a very unusual three-way setup where all drivers are horizontally aligned. This seems to be so that they can be rotated for usage in setups with enough vertical room, but the layout actually shown seems suboptimal given what I've read about the issues with MTM and similar center speakers, and even some other three-way speakers that have bad driver placement (like the C2+). https://forum.level1techs.com/t/zfs-metadata-special-device-z/159954 contains info for getting metadata size and block-size histograms, but both processes assume the data is already in a ZFS pool. I've looked around but can't seem to find any techniques for getting that info before actually moving those files to ZFS (useful when first setting up a ZFS system). The histogram can be approximated by a simple analysis of file sizes that rounds each up to a power of two (with whatever cutoff is wanted for record size), but I'm not sure how to emulate the metadata calculations. That link does mention that the metadata will be about 0.3% of a "typical" workload, but it does not clarify what a typ
I played the game on EGS through to completion but with the recent input binding update I was having a hard time even getting to the options menu to try to do rebinds (when using a DS4 with DS4Windows, the mouse cursor was getting stuck in the middle of the screen and I could not use keyboard controls to open the options menu from the main screen either; even when trying to use the DS4 without DS4Windows, just basic DirectInput, I was having mouse issues). As I also happen to have the game on Steam I decided to just switch over my save as Steam has built-in controller support for DS4s, but now I'm wondering about how to unlock hidden achievements that I may have satisfied the conditions for

Is it ever explained in more detail why >!Shinra razed Corel!<? Barret mentioned a reactor explosion, and Shinra is certainly no stranger to overreacting, but even when they >!dropped the plate!< it's not like they just chose one at random. Was someone in Corel actually responsible for the reactor explosion?
