I came down with some eczema-like rash a couple days ago, and the doctor at the AKH prescribed me some oral antihistamine and a steroid ointment. The rash shows no sign of improving though, and it's even spreading to my face.

The doctor also recommended taking a Patch Test at an allergy center to pin down the exact triggering substance to my reaction (although she said it was likely to be photoallergy). Does anyone have any recommendation as to which Allergy Center I should go to? Aside from the Patch Test, are they capable of prescribing me more medications?

I am a Social Sciences bachelor soon to graduate at the end of this year currently in the process of preparing for grad school applications. I have a pretty decent GPA, and my calculation is that I'm among the top 5% of my class. How would I present that fact in my CV? Should I write:

Bachelor in Social Sciences [Institution name]
Cumulative GPA: 3.82 (among the top 5% of the graduating class)

I will be in Kobe for a few days this October. I've been looking around for cheap accommodation, and it seems that Osaka has more available options. I'll be arriving and leaving from Kansai Airport.

  • I will have to be in Kobe almost every day to attend an event. Is it better to stay in Osaka and then commute to Kobe every morning? How crowded will the trains be?
  • Prices for hotels in Osaka and Kobe seem to be roughly the same anyway, so if I stay in Kobe can I save much on time and transportation cost?
  • Lastly, what are the best places to meet up with people for some casual drinking and conversations?
