Platform: macOS (GeForce NOW desktop app)
Input: USB gaming mouse into USB dock

Issue: When playing any first-person shooter through GeForce NOW on Mac (cs2, rust), the mouse pointer lock breaks after a few seconds of continuous movement. The real macOS cursor drifts to the bottom left corner of the screen, and once it hits the edge, mouse input becomes floaty and sluggish with noticeable lag. Clicking the screen on a pause menu or similar re-centers the cursor and snappy input returns temporarily, but the problem repeats. This happens across multiple games (CS2, Rust, others) and is not game-specific. It DOES NOT happen with a controller.

Just finished MS1 and trying to direct some summer attention to research. Finding it hard to get an idea of what is required in terms of quantity and breakdown (first-author vs co-author, abstracts vs manuscripts, other things) of research since data isn't listed on NRMP like the other specialties. From what I am hearing from other students, it is a little more than what is listed on NMRP for Gen Surg and less than things like ENT/Ortho/Plastics.

Would appreciate anyone's insight, especially if applying/matched, etc, in urology. Thank you!

Finishing up MS1 will be at school for the summer, doing research/studying. Offered the opportunity to contribute to a book chapter. I have a good relationship with the doc/research team. Seems like it's a good opportunity but no idea what it entails / how it is valued on residency apps / if its worth doing. Not sure where I would be in authorship but I can't imagine its anywhere near the beginning, seems like impressive Drs from around the world are contributing.

They are saying it will be a cutting-edge resource designed for surgeons and serve as a clinical guide to the latest advancements, techniques, and technologies. (summarized / and took some stuff out for anonymity)

Have some case investments from a few years ago, not really interested in keeping them going since I don't have time to follow. What's the best way to cash out and lose the least amount of value? It's nothing insane, probably a few hundred dollars total. Any help is appreciated!

I need shows that give me the feeling I get when watching things like solo leveling, kaiju no. 8, jjk, Tokyo ghoul, mob psycho, some scenes in AOT, hells paradise etc when crazy fights happen and I get super hyped up and get the chills. I like all the shows I have seen but the ones I mentioned especially. Scenes where the mc is strong and has some aura. I watched the solo leveling movie and am looking for more stuff to give me these feelings

Seen: Hunter x Hunter Invincible Jujutsu Kaisen Demon Slayer Attack on Titan Fullmetal Alchemist Chainsaw Man Mob Psycho 100 Code Geass Tokyo Ghoul My Hero Academia Vinland Saga The Eminence In Shadow MASHLE Hell’s Paradise Naruto Shonen Jump Fire Forc

I've been kind of stuck without any good shows recently and want some recs. I love shows like Solo Leveling, One Punch Man, MASHLE, Kaiju No. 8, Mob Psych 100, Demon Slayer, Tower of God, Tokyo Ghoul, Ragna Crimson, etc. I am mainly looking for shows with hype fights and OP MCs (maybe revenge even), but I really don't like any fan service or harems or that type of stuff (some is fine, but as long as it's not insanely cringe). I would appreciate any recs

I am an incoming student to a US MD school who is very interested in orthopedics. I am interested in engaging in ortho research when I begin school. I have begun reading papers that interest me and am seeking more.

I would appreciate if anyone could provide me with some landmark papers in orthopedics so I can learn more about the field and orthopedic research. I honestly don’t know where to start or where to find papers to read. I have been reading papers on OJSM and JAMA so far. I will take and appreciate any recommendations! I just have some time on my hands before school, and this interests me!

PPI / H2 Side Effects?

PPIs / H2 Blockers

Have had gastritis for about 2 months now, haven’t experienced too many symptoms recently and have barely begun to wean off of PPI.

Since my stomach burn and I digestion have gone away, I have had some minor constipation and a weird feeling in my lower abdomen. This kind of correlates with when I began taking the omeprazole and famotidine, has anyone else felt like this due to the meds? My stomach also feels very weird now beginning to stop the PPI, frequent bathroom trips (3-4 a day vs 1 barely), wondering if this is normal too.

So I was diagnosed with acute gastritis about 2 months ago now after a weekend of very heavy drinking (I usually never drink so think 0-100 for 3 full days).

I had an initial flare up for 2 weeks with stomach burning, awful indigestion after meals, constipation, etc. Was prescribed omeprazole and famotidine. Burning and indigestion mostly went away after the 2 weeks and then sometimes just came back it if I ate something bad or got unlucky. I have been eating bland and had basically little issues (maybe 1-2 days of actual pain) since then and getting better. I’ve been taking the PPI and famotidine since then.

Now most of my pain is in my lower abdomen? I am not even sure if it is pain or
