Trying to measure blind opv pressure by weighing output from opv tube on my 2013 gaggia classic.

After 15 seconds with blind basket I get 13 grams back out. Multiplied that's 52 grams/mL per minute. Is my pressure way under?

Am I doing something wrong? Shots taste ok, but I'm not opposed to adjusting opv if I could make it taste better.

My saga with Eufy continues and I'm nearly at the end of my rope .

I first got a wired 2k doorbell, but my doorbell wires are shot and I'm not going to pay an electrician to fix it when I can just get the in battery version. (Not eufy's fault.)

So I got the battery version with home base.

It had every potential adapter for the wall plug on the home base except for the US, where I live.

I emailed Eufy customer support and they told me to buy a US adapter from their website. Not going to happen.

I'm exchanging it for a new 2k battery doorbell, should I expect this one to come with a compatible wall plug or am I wasting my time?

Tldr: Should a 2k battery doorbell with home base purchase

Hi all,

I tried priming my classic so I could clean it up and get it working again, but no water is coming through the group head or the steam wand. Only thing coming out is a little steam. Is this something that I can clean to fix? Google search comes up with cleaning or replacing solenoid valve.

Thanks for the input, let me know if you need any more details.

Hi,

When I boot up my computer I have to login in the visual box with the lock to unencrypt the computer. Then it asks me to login again after it says "welcome to mx linux" in the boot screen. If I don't login that times out and continues to load. Then I login again to actually use the computer. Any idea how to remove the second login request? It makes the boot time much longer.

I was in the market for a new laptop to work on a Long term project with my wife. Instead of spending upwards of $700 for a laptop with good specs, I installed a new solid state drive, 4 gb more ram, and a new battery for less than $75. I then installed a Linux os for free and have a totally usable laptop for word processing, spreadsheets, email, slack, and social media. Basically everything you would need unless you are doing heavy duty multimedia editing. Hoping to use this until we really need something with better specs and then hope to use this as a secondary computer.

Hi,

I've installed mint successfully from an iso created on a USB drive to a new 240 gb ssd with three partition that I created during the installation.

  1. 100 gb / for the OS.
  2. 136 gb /home
  3. 6 gb swap.

I've fixed the bios to load the ssd first on boot, but it goes straight to a blinking cursor.

Is this a bootloader issue or hardware?

This is on 10 year old laptop with i5 core, radeon graphics card 6gb ram.

Mint works ok, albeit slow on the live boot from usb.

Thanks for your help.
