I moved to your lovely country from my home in India a few years ago. I'm finally bringing most of my PC components along this time, save for the tower/case & peripherals, in the hopes of just buying those again in Australia. (I'm flying with it, so trying to only bring what makes sense).

Any help to better inform my purchasing decisions would be greatly appreciated. I'm not specifically looking for advice on components, just where and possibly when to buy them. I appreciate you reading through and thank you in advance for your suggestions!

While on holiday away from my home, I needed to gain access to my home network and all I had setup was HTTPS access (through Nabu Casa) to my Home Assistant UI running off a docker container on my Raspberry Pi.

This happened a few weeks ago and I wrote an article about how I managed to get into my home network, hoping that some of you might find it interesting, and also get a laugh at my foolishness! :)

I guess it's not very common knowledge that people who choose a docker container installation of home assistant don't get one click add-on deployments. Add-ons have to be setup by manually building and deploying containers, which isn't possible to do unless you already have shell access t
