My “ex-wife” and I raised our children Catholic. They were baptized Catholic, have received Catholic religious education, and our older child has already made his First Communion. I am still a practicing Catholic, and raising them in the faith is very important to me.

I put “ex-wife” in quotes because that is only our civil status. She has asked the Church for an annulment. I am participating in that process in good faith, providing facts and evidence to the best of my memory, and leaving the final decision about the validity of our marriage to the Church.
She is already civilly remarried and has become very frustrated with the Church. Recently, she started taking our children to an Angli

I know I may get some criticism for this, and I accept that I should have watched the account more closely.

This morning, I noticed my checking account was overdrawn because my son had made a large number of purchases on an app. I contacted Truist immediately. After reviewing the account, I found charges going back to January. They started small but increased heavily in the last few days.

Truist canceled the card and opened a claim for every charge from the app, including the pending ones.
I do not expect all the older charges to be refunded. I mainly hope the pending charges can be reversed.

Has anyone gone through something similar with Truist? How long did the process take, did you r

It seems most weeks I’m really only working 20-25 hours. I’ve been in enterprise sales for 5+ years but it just doesn’t seem like there’s more work to do for me than that. I have a solid pipeline and have performed well. Just out of curiosity I was wondering if this is typical across the board.

When I was in office I would “work” more but it was really a lot of water cooler time.

Sure there are some weeks it might scale up due to travel/onsite but the typical weeks I feel like my calendar is actually fairly free even with adding prospecting time.

After a 2 month hiatus from OE following J2 RIF. I am starting a new J2. Which seems to be incredibly OE friendly but of course I won’t really know until I start.

Now I’m sitting here having my morning coffee just amazed at how much OE has done for me over the years.

I got into OE by chance, after getting laid off twice in a single year I lost all faith in the corporate world. I got two job offers from two roles from two companies who looked like jokes at the same time and I decided to hedge my bets and didn’t even know there was a word for what we do.

Over three years I’ve leveled up both J1 and J2. I couldn’t imagine ever just staying at a single J.

I’ve been looking it doesn’t seem to be a solid place whether it’s a website or app to specifically design for divorced Dad/single Dad.

I was wondering if that would be something that people would use or find value in.

It would be a platform that provided community maybe even some localization for meeting up with other single Dad’s in your area.

As well as a lot of resources for things navigating divorce, activities with the kids, dating, mental health and wellness.

I’m thinking about developing it. It would be free to use it when it cost much to maintain. But before I put in the effort, wanted to kind of get a temperature check.

I recently received a job offer from a large tech company after being sourced by a recruiter on LinkedIn. I never filled out a formal application.

My LinkedIn profile has the correct employment dates, but I the resume I shared with the recruiter on LinkedIn had incorrect dates for two prior roles around a layoff and transition period.

The issue: one role’s end date was listed about 4 months later than my actual layoff/separation date , and the next role’s start date was listed about 4 months earlier than my actual start date. So the resume made the employment gap look closer to 4 months, when it was actually around 11–12 months.

The employers, titles, and experience are all accurate. I wa

I’m going into the interview process for an Atlassian sales role and I was hoping to get insights on the structure of the process (how many interviews, presentations, etc). Any insights or advice from folk who have been through it would be super helpful!

Thanks in advance!

I test drove it, I loved it.

I hated the dealership experience, definitely not up to par with Mercedes.

I could really use some advice from other Catholics.

My ex-wife has filed for an annulment, and I’ve been contacted by the tribunal. I want to be honest up front. I’m not against an annulment in general. There is no chance of us getting back together. She has moved in with another man, and there have been a lot of lies around that, even involving the kids. I don’t recognize who she is anymore.

But I’m really struggling with the reason she gave.

She claims I was intoxicated at our wedding and had an alcohol problem that made me unable to give proper consent. That’s just not true. The priest who did our Pre-Cana and officiated our wedding knew me very well and can speak to my state of mind.

A few nights ago my soon to be 8 year old broke down crying while putting him to bed saying he wishes we me and his mom were still together and we were a family again. It wasn’t my choice to separate and we have both loved on but damn I feel like I’ve destroyed my kids childhood.
