The S90F is $800 near me brand new. That would obviously be the way I want to lean, but I have an extremely bright room.

I’ve seen QD OLED aren’t great in bright rooms…

The S90H is $1500. Obviously quite a bit more, but I think the matte screen would be really nice for my bright living room…

Hey everyone!

I am upgrading from my M2 iPad.

I have the following options:

M4 glossy iPad 1TB at $950

M4 nano iPad 1TB at $850

M5 glossy iPad 256gb at $900

I’m leaning towards the M5, since I don’t need a ton of storage. I also think I’d be fine with 12GB of RAM.

The nano texture deal is intriguing to me, but I don’t draw on my iPad, and I use a keyboard case, so I’m scared of scratches, since I can’t use a screen protector with it.

I plan on using this iPad for the next 4-5 years.

Does anyone have an update on performance? Game still isn’t live on the US Eshop for me.

I want to get it on a portable console, but I don’t like using my Steam Deck much anymore, so I might just get it on the PS5 if true Switch 2 has performance issues.

Out of curiosity, has anyone had the infamous connectivity issues with the USB-C version yet?

I did a tear down of the lightning and USB-C version and the Ribbon cables are wrapped in the USB-C version, so I wanted to see if that has made a difference. I know this is early and anecdotal, but I thought I’d check!

Right now, Costco has a $50 off $500 for electronics that are eligible, and the Sub Gen 3 is on the list. You will also get a voucher for $80 Apple gift card.

Additionally, a pair of Ones are on sale for $340. If you are lucky, some Costcos still have the Arc on clearance for $400 (plus $60 Apple Gift card) or a Beam Gen 2 for $300

Somebody is selling a 2080 Super with an I7 9700k cpu and 48 GB of ram for $650 nearby. Is this a decent PC for a first time PC user? Thank you!

Somebody around me is offering a used OLED 1TB for $525. Do you feel like that is fair value? I see a new one goes for $650, but I didn’t know how well Steam Decks retain their value. Thank you!

I have basically only played on consoles for my entire life. I had a laptop back in 2017 for school that had a 1050ti in it and built a fairly large Steam library (~500 games.. thanks Humble Bundle) but the laptop gave out a year later in 2018.

Since then I’ve only used Macs, which have been great, but they can’t really play games and I have been thinking about being able to return to my Steam library at some point.

I don’t have an interest in a Desktop or Gaming Laptop due to my experience from before (I also don’t like tinkering with computers).

I really like the simplicity of just turning on a console and playing something right away. I have a Switch (only use it portably) and a PS5
