Carmax is offering me exactly what I paid for my 2026 Premium RWD. With Tesla’s 0.99% offer, I can move into a new 2027 Premium AWD for $1 less a month. My existing loan has 48 months left, so I would be extending that to 72 months which means the upgrade will run me an additional $13,000. The change would also reset my warranty which has some inherent value although no where close to $13k.
Carmax just offered me $42K for my Premium RWD which is what I paid a year ago. I can upgrade to Premium AWD for $100 more a month (60 months 0.99%). Currently sitting at 48/60 months 3.49%. I could also do the 72 month option for 0.99% and come in lower with incremental interest being immaterial.
Initial review and performance appears that it would be a good addition with DGRO.
Are there any ETFs that methodically allocate based on share repurchase authorization, repurchase growth rate, and FCF? I think that would be an interesting tilt to dividend paying ETFs like SCHD or DGRO.
