A few days ago my daughter was bit on the leg by a neighbor's dog. She and my son were riding their bikes towards a lady walking a dog on a leash, and they went onto the grass to avoid them. The dog jumped at my daughter and bit her on the calf. The puncture wounds were deep enough that we took her to the hospital fearing she'd need stitches. They cleaned it, gave her a series of shots. She'll be fine.

But it's been weighing on me all week. What would I have done had I been there? I have a neighbor that carries an umbrella or cane solely to fend off dogs. I'm not in the habit of carrying any sort of weapon or stick or anything. Best case scenario I would have had my car/house keys a

I’m looking to buy a projector for our conference room at work. There will likely be some ambient light to cope with. I’m hoping to project onto a 120” screen and throw distance shouldn’t be an issue, it’s a 35’ long room. Ideally I’d like people to be able to cast from their laptop to the projector, but if that’s not possible I suppose I could run 1 or 2 HDMI cables to working surfaces so people can connect that way. My budget is up to $2500, but I’m looking for the most affordable option.

Any suggestions you could offer would be great. Thanks!

I’ll dig through my collection to see what I have before buying new pieces, but I will have to purchase a few. Keep in mind there are a few pieces that aren’t available yet. The classic space logo on the 2x4 tile, the LL928 1x6 brick, a 2x2 tile with computer graphic, and a little half round tile (1x2). The canopy isn’t available either, but the set comes with two so you should be good.

A quick auto-select of the brinklink stores says the remaining 56% of alt 2 is about $85, but I’m sure you can do better.

Just thought I’d report what I’ve fo
