Hey folks, more of a general production gear question, but I use FL so I figured I'd ask here.
After caving to my GAS I've amassed a few outboard synths and pedals that I'd like to route through FL. I currently use a (very well loved) Mackie Big Knob Studio+ (6 in (2 mic preamps + 2 stereo ins) / 3 stereo outs) I picked up at an estate sale 5 or so years ago, but when I try to assign different ins/outs in the mixer I only have the mic inputs (which are each mono, or both as stereo):
and 2 options for outs, but as far as I can tell from messing around, I can't route them ou
My brain is too small for the proper flat-back alpha technique so I tried something different #79978

Sony WM-A/B53, I dismantled the unit, and bridging the left & right solder points (in the picture) fixes the audio when played forwards, but muffles the audio when played in reverse (which previously sounded fine).
Fairly new to these things, is there a chance there's an issue with the actual playhead?
Both sides of the tape play normally when in reverse (so it's not the tape), and I've been able to fix it by holding the ribbon cable at a certain angle (which makes me doubt there's an issue with the playhead, but the actual solder points are nearly impossible to get to i
I literally look forward to it every year, and this year I finally get to fulfill my childhood dream of seeing an F-22!!! (Plus the waterbomber demo and some low passes of the Landcaster are going to be absolutely sick)
I just moved apartments and my new place has a perfect view of Marilyn Bell Park so I know I'm gonna be out there the whole weekend lol
Hey Guys, I'm part of a DJ duo and have recently picked up VJing to try and stand out from our local scene.
We've done a few smaller shows and have our biggest so far coming up this weekend and I'm really second-guessing what I'm actually doing.
Are there any full sets of big mainstream EDM artists performing where I can watch what the visuals are doing? All of the sets I've found show mostly the artist/the crowd and make it hard to focus on the screens.
(OC is welcome as well!)
