Not exactly mod related, but I've "rediscovered" steam gaming since getting a PC that actually works, and have discovered a program/company called Wand/Wemod. It appears to be basically like a modern day gameshark of sorts.

Has anybody used this in the past enough to know how it works with elden ring? I've used it successfully on other games, but have seen in the main ER reddit about people getting pinged by ER's anticheat, and would like to avoid that if possible.

I don't intend to play online or use it for invading, rather, I'm interested in three things for it. Giving levels/stats to get silly builds online faster, the "100% drop rate" feature, and using the option for infinite consumab

Elden ring just launched the tarnished edition dlc. Does anyone know what if any interactions there are from whatever anticheat fromsoft uses in elden ring?

I remember people discussing over in the elden ring subreddit getting pinged by the anti cheat, and I'm not trying to trespass that or steam ToS, or having to nuke all my elden ring saves just to be able to play again. I just wanna make leveling and meme builds easier to come online.

Is it the sort of thing that's fine if playing offline and will nail you if you're connected to the Internet? Or would wemod trigger the anticheat regardless?

I know thrusting swords/rapiers are supposedly good because they apparently have ridiculously high poise damage for their speed, and can thus, stagger enemies out of attacks, and take advantage of counter thrust damage. What else is good to keep in an off hand slot besides shields, staffs, and faith casting rocks?

I fought this mother fucker for the better part of an hour and most of that was cause I didn't have any fucking ammo. To be fair I'm using a vladof AR and SMG on a harlow build but seriously what the fuck? You get like, a couple of boxes of ammo in the arena and that's it? And his shield can eat most of your bullets, so if you can't burn it down, and then damage him, it recharges and your down ammo for nothing. I got to the second phase, through to the second health bar, and downed both of the adds, got nothing good, and the little yellow adds also don't drop ammo. What the hell? This fight seems almost purpose designed to run you out of ammo

I figured out how to apply mods to EBF5, via discord instructions, but one drive appears to be preventing the file conversion (mod patch application) from applying correctly. Attempting to clear the one drive doesn't do anything productive, and, idk why it's even saving to one drive anyways, when my PC has over a TB of storage natively, (1.23 of 1.81 TB used) ,and, I don't wanna go randomly deleting stuff from the one drive because I don't know what any of the stuff is.

I'm too computer stupid to figure this out and it's pissing me off.

Finally bit the bullet and tried messing with mods for EBF5. I don't like discord in general cause of something they did a while ago, but at this point I've forgotten what it was, and that was my main hangup.

I got the tough love mod downloaded, how do i make it run with EBF5? I am sadly not very tech savvy when it comes to computers. I know how to operate stuff well enough, and how to navigate from point a to point b, but tampering with files and such is not anything I've ever really messed with, much less anything beyond that. I know how to copy and move files and that's about as complex as anything I've ever done.

I apologize in advance, as this is gonna be a bit long, but, I expect it will solve most of the issues of similar attempts made by other people.

An evil wizard has cast an enormous and terrible curse upon the entire planet.

For the sake of argument, it is currently noon.

At midnight, every human on the planet will die instantly. (Like via a heart attack or stroke or whatever, for the sake of argument.) All other life on the planet (animals, plants, bacteria, etc) will be unaffected.

You are one of 1,000,000 people who have been kidnapped by the wizard, and each of you has been stuck in your own individual box. After midnight, each box will be emptied, dumping its contents, in whatever st

I know shocked from the stun baton does. Does frozen and/or rooted (grass type vines clinging to character) from. Palworld moves do the same? Does anything else help, or is it just shocked? Does it have to be from the stun baton, or can a pal with a shock applying move work?

Currently using a "corsair scuf envision pro v2", and the controller keeps sporadically disconnecting itself despite it being connected via wire. Can't tell if this is a warframe problem or controller problem as it doesn't seem to be happening with any other game at the moment. Trying to figure out if I wanna deal with it, trouble shoot until I find a fix, or drive to a store somewhere and hope it's still under warranty.

(I had this horrible idea and have to get it out of my head and into the world somewhere.)

Decanter of suspicious fluids. works exactly like a decanter of endless water, however, whenever you attempt to use it, you must first roll a d6. The number rolled determines what comes out of the decanter.

  1. Lemonaid

  2. Milk

  3. Hot chocolate (not necessarily guaranteed to be "hot")

  4. The blackest of black coffee, and is uncharacteristically sticky (Suspicious black goo anyone?)

  5. A semi-sweet dark-red dipping sauce that looks a bit too much like blood without closer inspection

  6. Water. entirely safe, normal water. However, it looks, feels, and smells, like disgusting sewage waste water, but

I like soulsbornes especially salt and sanctuary right now, as well as rpg's like divinity 2, and dragon age inquisition, and especially baldurs gate (I **Love** DND but had to walk away from it for various reasons, including bad DM reasons, and I have been very annoyed that various "baldurs gate 3-likes" didn't run on the dnd system given how well I know it). I like turn based games, but do think they are becoming a bit outdated as a game mechanic unless implemented very well or having something to make it uniquely fun again. The epic battle fantasy series is one of my favorite game series, though I also enjoy action like games.

For further context, of the specific aesthetic I'm lookin
