r/SteamOS•

I'd like to try SteamOS before I commit to installing it as my main OS on my laptop.

Has anyone successfully installed the latest SteamOS inside of a virtual machine under VMware workstation?

I'm in the UK.

This morning I cannot connect to TOR

"Tor Browser could not connect to Tor

If Tor is blocked in your location, trying a bridge may help. Connection assist can choose one for you using your location, or you can configure your connection manually instead.

Tor failed to establish a Tor network connection."

I tried using a bridge and that didn't work (obfs4) nor will any of the other built-in bridges work. When I look to update Tor Browser I get an error "Failed to check for updates"

The version is 14.5.7

My DNS servers are 1.1.1.1 and 8.8.8.8

Does anyone know what is happening?

Here are the reasons:

As of VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) version 9, Broadcom h

Really. Years ago Totalbiscuit described Dota2 as "the world's most popular misery simulator" but it's much worse.

Dota2 is thoroughly toxic and I could not uninstall the game fast enough. Never again.

“Here’s the bottom line: At the end of the day, America’s the only country on earth that’s played fair on trade. Everybody else breaks the rules to protect their domestic businesses. That’s hollowed out our industrial heartland. And that dynamic can only change if our government takes a more carrot-and-stick approach. Assuming Trump doesn’t go overboard, that might just be what we’ve got and it means stocks can finally stage a real rally again.”
