Guy I met has a 13 franchise portfolio he’s looking to exit, says he wants out of the rat race due to a recent cancer scare.

He’s saying that 20% of revenue is clean for past 3-4 years (just use $2.2m net on $10m gross for reference). Leases good til 2031-34 with 5 yr options.

Honestly, the eagle’s view numbers look great to me and it would be a good way for me to diversify a bit, but I’ve never operated a restaurant or a franchise, nor do I know anyone in the restaurant space besides the individual (at least not “close” with). Any tips? (Already considering splitting the portfolio into just top 2-3 performing locations)

Up until now, I’ve been buying out the FB Marketplace on F-250’s locally and it’s been just fine, but I’m getting to a point in the business where I’m starting to see some value in uniformity. I’m talking truck branding, color coordination, polos/etc. the whole setup.

Far as hauls are concerned, it ranges from landscape equipment (including trailer), to light machinery (skid steer loader, excavators, etc. nothing crazy large).

My dilemma right now is that I’ve been eyeing the GMC Sierra 1500-2500 models. It matches the image I have in mind, white would look great with logos, all the works. Used GMCs are also in a comfortable price range ($40k-ish locally), and fairly comfortable for carryi

Main & Alt for reference.

Not sure whether or not this gear is still relevant or I need a big update/overhaul, but here's the questions:

  1. Is purple rain/celerity spam still the meta strat?

  2. Do I need to change anything for challenge fights or are my builds/gear fine?

  3. Any new mastercraft equipment I should take the time to pick up?

  4. Any skill updates I should look into? (Last time I logged in was right when Necro update dropped and I just rush cleared it so completely clueless on that note as well)

I think we’re long overdue for some sort of “clan citadel” type instancing for minigames where we can all access Castle Wars (or any other minigame activity) from any world and end up in the same instance.

Also maybe start opening some low-population minigames to f2pscape to fill in the gaps.

It’s cool to see new content for skills, new areas, and all this fancy stuff, but feelsbad to want to participate in all these things but be unable to because it’s irrelevant and everyone is out there doing something else.

Sincerely, master comp (t) player who finally got to the “do whatever you want” part of rs3 only to find that it’s all dead content.

Is there any way to reduce the simulated match length? It’s fkn wild watching these matches scoring 9-10 points each and trying to compete with that score on 12 minutes while going back and forth.

Comienzo con el dicho de q “I’m not here for a long time, I’m here for a good time.”

Following up on a comment from another post that intrigued me.

What are some “creative” ways you’ve had to gain access to a property?

Ex: I once worked with a wholesaler on purchasing a beat up property. Nobody had access. Owner passed, property was barely standing, nobody had keys, door lock was rusted and wouldn’t turn, it was becoming impossible. So eventually owner (inheriting son) caved and said “do whatever the hell you wanna do man. I’m working.” so I went by with a sledge hammer and knocked down that front door with a smile on. Was therapeutic. I’m sure there have been crazier stories out there.

Long story short, I worked in the industry for a while several years ago and have since been on an entrepreneurship that is now at an impasse. It’s been sales focused and done well, but I’m now looking to create a sort of enterprise software solution that can bridge the gap between the different entities and help make it a more efficient machine.

Everyone is saying something in the $80k-$100k range for an MVP (which would be out of pocket), which I don’t think is remotely worth it while having had experience with this tech stack in the past and remembering how simple it would be to get something that works up. Then use that to raise capital and leverage which would be 10x more practical tha
