streamable.com/aedmhxThe rarity of DQ finishes in AEW booking can lead to interesting character developments.
After MFJ cheats and isn't caught by the ref, Pillman Jr. should get fed up and blatantly use a weapon. This would lead to him getting DQ'ed in the process, even with him continuing to attack after the DQ result.
- This is one of the most personal feuds in AEW history, a regular heel finish win by MJF would make Pillman Jr. look like an idiot if he just plays it off like a regular match.
- Loose Cannon element - It would add another dimension to Brian Pillman Jr's character. Usually this action would be a turn heel, but against MJF that isn't possible because he is so hated. Plus he has said so much
These matches weren't short either with all of them going over 15 minutes. Only one of these two wrestlers is expected to pull something like this off.
Maki Itoh's matches may have been the best women's matches in a weekend which included Britt Baker vs Red Velvet, Deonna Purrazzo vs. Faby Apache and the always consistent Stardom with Giulia vs. Koguma & Mayu Iwatani vs. Natsupoi. The main reason I'm making this post is I saw people stating Maki Itoh (after AEW run) was worse than Jillian Hall (Lance Storm) and Lana. The latter two never had the Maki's move set or multiple 20 min plus matches where flaws can't be hidden.
