I enjoy a caffeinated beverage in the morning, but don't drink coffee. For a couple years I've been drinking caffeinated Crystal light, using the to-go packets of powder to mix with 16 ounces of water. Recently I saw a deal so I ordered the Peach Mango with caffeine, one of my favorite flavors. However, I screwed up and ordered pitcher packets instead of the small packets of powder.

No problem, I figured I could measure out the correct amount of powder for my 16 ounces of water since my mini fridge has no room for a pitcher. The small drink packets hold a little more than half a teaspoon of powder so I tried that. It didn't taste close. I tried less and more but each attempt from the

Even with the margin set to zero on a document in the project bookmarks, when viewed in the inspector window a large left margin constrains the text. Reducing that built-in margin would enhance the usability of that valuable screen real estate.

I have an unusual setup for my desktop PC. My desk is in my bedroom, but the sound of the fan on the PC mini tower bothers me so I have it set up in my closet with extension cables running 10-12 feet to my desk for HDMI, and USB for mouse and keyboard. However, my mini tower is running out of USB ports.

To alleviate that issue, I purchased a powered USB Hub, thinking I could have only one or at least fewer extension cables, but it doesn't want to work on an extension cable. Can anyone recommend a powered hub that comes with a long USB cable or will run on an extension USB cable?

Decades ago when I had newborn children we had these rubber bulbs designed to suction snot from a babies noses. After spending the best part of five minutes trying to dig out a booger out of my own schnoz with a tissue, I wondered why we don't have those rubber suction bulbs for adult use.

We could add a squeak toy noise maker and market it as Snot Funny.

Years ago I wrote a coming of age story where several teens played the game, Two Truth and a Lie. That meant I had to come up with their crazy stories and decide which one they'd claim was true. It worked so well that I felt all these secondary characters were more real than my typical ones. In later works I wrote two truths and a lie about each of my characters to help develop their background stories. Occasionally I would even drop one of their fun anecdotes into their dialogue, but mostly those stories never made it into my story, only informed me of who they were. I still do this. It's fun for me, so I'm here to recommend it to you and get your opinions about it.

I'm the king of first drafts. No writer's block. The result is a story, a bad one that needs work. Writing first drafts are as easy as pouring out a cup of ink and just as messy. A glance at the spattered mess reveals a story like a Rorschach test.

In an attempt to learn from my mistakes, I've moved on and written more first draft stories, but my mind often returns to the abandoned stories. They're bloated. One is over 400 thousand words. I either need to make it a series or figure out what parts to axe. A rewrite may be best.

Can anyone please recommend a good book on second drafts?

Got a new cheap android tablet for use as a spotify host for parties. When setting it up I decided to create a gmail account for this android. It accepted the new gmail username and password, then stalls on verifying my phone number. It never asked me to enter a phone number. The tablet does not have a phone in it. The setup seems to be stalled for at least 45 minutes now. Any advice?

It cost tens of thousands of dollars to have professionals install a fancy moving pool sub-floor or to redo the pool to be permanently shallower. Any suggestions to temporarily make my built-in 6ft deep pool shallow enough (3.5 - 4 feet deep) to play water volleyball?

I've considered zip-tying milk crates together or tossing in many sandbags.
