I am refreshing my deck, and after taking some of it part and the trim off the house, I found this little gem. Looking for options for mounting this last joist/fascia. It is slightly recessed into the structure. On the left side when the trim is off you can access the nail holes for the joist hanger. The right side is blocked by the edge of the ledger board.

The builder, back 13 years ago, nailed it by putting 6-8 nails in the joist from the left side.

In the past couple of days, my mower is doing this quite a bit "Cloud synchronization (operation temporarily restricted)."? It will just sit there, if I connect to it via BT and disable the automower connect module, then it goes and does its thing.. or if it wait a bit it seems to get past that error.

I have been using the 2:1:2 ratio. This works great for the seedling and veg states. What are others using for the fruiting stage? I get a good amount of fruit, but the plants are definitely in grow more plant mode.

Has anyone used predried treated lumber before? It is about 25% more expensive than traditional treated lumber locally. I am replacing the joist and rim joist on my 10 year old deck., so the regular lumber is about $600, and the predried is about $800.

I have messed around with various types of containers. Originally using the Aeroscience nozzles, and since those are no longer available, working with SU16 nozzles. My latest effort is using a 12 gallon bucket -- technically more drum with a sealing lid. This is to grow large plants such as peppers.

It seems to do pretty well, keeping the nutrient and air from escaping... almost a little too well. The pressure will build up and lift the collar around the plants or eventually through the seal on the lid.

I am guessing that putting a vent in the top would help alleviate this excess pressure. Just wondering what others have done.

I have had Husky 550 EPOS since 2021-2022 timeframe. The scheduling seems more complicated then it ought to be. I would love to know if any other mowers have a better system.

This is my dream list for scheduling:

  1. Set hours of operation by the day.
  2. Set an order of zones to be mowed

Then it would just go through zone by zone and follow the order. Maybe something around don't mow before x days. That's all I really want. Every week it seems to be adjusting the schedule.

Previously I used the Aeroscience misting heads, which targeted somewhere in the 5-20 uM range of droplet size. Aeroscience is no more, so I am looking at what misting heads to use.

I have looked at some that are in the AAA range so around 10 microns and also seen other ones that are in the 20-50 droplet size.

What size droplets have others been using and having success with? I've had some issues with bottom end rot, but it seems to be resolved by a slightly lower EC, and more frequent misting times. I originally went with the Aeroscience heads, because the liquid is gravity fed (unpressurized), and the compressed air line is only about 30 psi.

I have a deck that was built 15 years ago when the house was built. The covered deck support posts are stacked 6x6's. I am looking to redo the deck, pull down the subframe, decking, and railings. However, these 6x6's need to stay since they are supporting the roof. What is the recommended way to update the interface where the 6x6's sit on top of each other.

I have an elevated deck that is 40 x 12. The surface is trex and the subframe is dimension lumber that is failing after 15 years. I am looking at Timbertech's aluminum framing option.

Has anyone installed that? Just looking for thoughts, and wondering if the Timbertech hidden fasteners (t-bolts style) will work with my existing Trex tongue and groove?

I currently have an A1-mini is sometime in the next year, it will be time to upgrade. My big wants are at least a 256x256x256 build volume, which is now pretty standard. The other thing I want to be able to do is print PETG and TPU on the same print. On the TPU side it would be a single TPU filament, but multiple PETG (nice to have, but not necessary). I know that the AMS is literally varieties cannot handle flexible filament such as TPU. What are my best options?
