I loved fortnite. Have loved the game since day one. I haven’t picked it up since the end of January. I felt the state of the game was atrocious. Is it any better this season? Have the countless bugs and glitches been fixed? Was thinking about trying again but thought I’d ask before I installed again. UPDATE* gave it another try and it’s an immediate no for me. Sadly.

More bugs, yes. Same old glitches, yes. Unbelievable and inexcusable, ridiculous input delay, worse than ever! Input delay that will ignore your input, many, MANY times a game! It’s INEXCUSABLE. There’s no excuse for it. no wonder this was the biggest flop of a season launch ever (numbers wise) people are sick of the bs.

I tried to play again last night, and while the game is still trash, I also noticed I got extremely dizzy trying to play this game. Something has changed with the graphics. Maybe in preparation for first person? When I’m trying to fish for example, you can’t line up your pole where you want it to go anymore. it has the blue line, but the blue line just goes up and immediately straight down (if that makes sense) and if you line that blue line up where you want it to go, it doesn’t go there. Something has changed. I just want to see if I am alone in thinking this, or has anyone else notic

My son is begging me for this game, it’s 70$, and before I get it for him I want to be sure it’s enjoyable for an average, non gamer, eight year old. He plays some fortnite. Some other easy games (by easy I mean to master the controller buttons). Any advice or recommendations?

I have not logged onto Fortnite since mid January, the game was in such a bad state in every way possible. The bugs, the glitches, the lag, the inconsistency, the dumbass Content additions, the pulling Content, the adding Content back, the changing things nobody asked for, that just created Additional hardship for the user. I have played Fortnite every single day, many, MANY times a day, for two years, regular before that, but very consistent for the last two years. I loved it, great game. rarely did you face a cheater in your lobby, most times the skill based matchmaking was on point, and while looking back there were gripes, comparatively, it was golden. I feel like you have to carry a Deku smash if you have the opportunity to have one and you have to basically use it or you’re gonna die from it if the other person has it but I’ve won two games tonight and I feel horrible about each one neither one of them should I have one in the normal “” normal FPS mechanics. One of them I probably could’ve pulled it off but the second one absolutely not! I never would beat this person in any other situation with my health being five and them lasering me and really me making a poor decision. they should’ve won … and yet because I had the deck to smash I won. I don’t feel good about it and it sucks I think I’m out until this is gone.

I was truly hoping that with this update we would get a majority of the bugs fixed the glitches fixed etc. but no…instead of doing that ,instead of focusing on making the game stable, they added the Deku smash back they put a falcon in the game that nobody uses and yet while some of the bugs seem to be fixed there is a litany of new ones. I love how I teleport all over the place. I will literally be one place after hammering or after doing the Deku smash and all a sudden I am 100 feet away! I just lost a VR because I killed somebody with a Deku smash in the circle and somehow I’m away in the storm after the deck to smash I don’t understand it’s insane. I guess I’m trying to think of any reason why the game would be so broken. I can’t believe that Epic would allow all these things just to continue the storyline of fractured, broken etc. which is what the season is “fractured”. Does anyone else think that that may be why many many of the bugs, glitches etc. aren’t being addressed? I know this is really stupid thought If y’all remember at the end of chapter event things started glitching out…things started bugging… I wonder if that’s just part of the storyline this season

Am I wrong isn’t a party time augment the balloons? Fortnite put out a tweet they disabled it and I have not seen another tweet from them saying that it’s been reinstated and yet twice today I have died by somebody that had the balloons what the F is going on?

It makes it really not fun. I’ll never win against somebody like that! I can’t run and build in front of me I can box up and that’s about all I can do. I play on switch. I shouldn’t have to play against someone on PC! I shouldn’t have to play against someone who can run edit courses and do all kinds of crazy stuff and if their exploiting the system to get in these lobbies, they should be banned. The delay I experience I will lose 10 out of 10 times against someone who can literally switch between their weapons without having to cycle through 10 out of 10 I loose, If we both just ran through a mag and recycling to the next gun. I shouldn’t have to play against that
