r/stroke•

I had a small ischaemic stroke a week ago. I recovered quickly and physically I am fine, but have fatigue, headaches and lightheadedness.

I work in a computer based role from home, dealing with data.

Just wondering how long is normal to stay off work ?

Thanks

Due to ill health in very behind. I’m on DE200 now (Oct start - second stage 2 module). Would I be able to defer and start Feb instead? The next module (DD310 - first stage 3 module) is only in October tho 🤔

It says this on website :

Entry requirements

This is an OU level 3 module. Prior to studying this module, you should have obtained the necessary study skills to study at OU level 3, either by completing relevant OU level 2 study (e.g. in a social science), but you are not expected to have any special knowledge of psychology.

If you have any doubt about the suitability of the module, please speak to an adviser.

My extension is due tomorrow (was given just under 2 weeks due to family bereavement) however I’m in withdrawal with my ADHD meds due to the company being suspending by the ICB, which has meant brain fog, dizzy, migraines, poor sleep etc.

Will I be allowed to extend my extension further, with it being Xmas ?

Thanks
