Hey everyone. It’s crazy to be posting here for advice as the person who is no longer experiencing DPDR.
I recovered after about three and a half years. I’m still not 100% myself, but I would consider myself about 95% recovered. Honestly, nothing really helped me except time and taking care of myself. That was completely it. Living my life, the gym to sweat, eating good food, and trying hard to just live as much as I could.
I was a constant poster on here, and I think I was pretty well known for posting all the time because I was really, really bad off. I’ve deleted some of my posts because it’s hard to see how bad off I was. Sometimes I can’t even believe I’m still here and able to say
I never thought I would be writing this because I had severe DPDR starting in 2021. It was one of the hardest experiences of my life, but I have improved so much. I’m not 100% healed, but I have my life back. I still experience some emotional numbness/anhedonia, but I’m able to function, work, be a parent, and enjoy life again. If you look back on my posts I was truly messed up. I’ve deleted probably 50% of them because I couldn’t bear to read them now that I’m better. I’ve also met lots of amazing long time friends on here.
The reason I’m posting is because my boyfriend recently developed what appears to be DPDR, and I’m watching it affect our relationship. Before this happened, everythin
Also just pulsating throbbing on top. Motrin will calm it but not fully. I'm 3 days away, so I'm in hell for sure. Feeling disconnected from my surroundings and anhedonia. Seems like inflammation of the brain from the drop in estrogen.

I had a really important second interview on Wednesday, and as it before I left he said, we have to finish our interviews for the week and we'll let you know next week, early next week. We won't leave you hanging, which I thought was nice. It'd be nice to hear a yes or no. But I'm wondering if I should follow up with anything today. He did say, if you get home and you have any questions and you think about something you need to ask, are you wondering, just email me. And I did, after my first interview, I did have a question and I asked, and I'm wondering if it makes me seem more interested, if I should email and say, just wanted to say thanks for Wednesday, I really enjoyed the conversation,
I have an interview coming up for social services as a human services worker who brings children to visit their parents for their visitations. It's for parents who lost their children. This is my dream job. I'm 38 years old. I've been really applying for jobs like this since 2021 and I've had no luck and I got an interview for this.
The problem is, is I bomb my interviews. I'm the most empathetic, quiet, sweet person, but I shut down. I become unsure of myself. I become mute. I can't find words to say. It's like I don't know how to speak. I use like the most basic words and it makes me look bad and it's awful. And then I get with my friends and I'm this different person out going and talka
I've been doing the stair master five to six days a week for 40 to 55 minutes each time on level 5 to 14 depending on what kind of workout I'm doing, whether I'm doing intervals or just doing it steady. I noticed, a week ago, my fingers were getting swollen while I was doing cardio, and then it would just go away when I was done after I rested, about 30 minutes later it would be fine.
I blame being busy that I wasn't rehydrating, I was drinking coffee, I wasn't eating my carbs, I was smelling ammonia, wasn't eating enough protein, and I would still get back on the stair master the next day, and I think it's finally caught up with me because a couple days ago I started getting a really bad
Please be careful he’s saying he’ll give you 6k and gets you on camera and gets what he wants and then blocks you. Please be careful!!! He makes a new Reddit account so I can’t say the name it keeps changing. He used snap chat with me. His last one had an 18 in it. His. And was Jacob or Rick. Says he’s in the medical field.

Any good ideas? My kids are home from school all week and I'm back to work. I already have a case of ramen but I can't expect them to keep eating that. It sucks they're home all week so they'll be looking for food and snacks all day.
I feel like it's cheaper to have frozen pizza for dinner twice this week. Each one is $3.92. Ground beef is the cheapest $6. Would love some ideas you frequently do?
Probably will try to make a big crock pot dinner too that fills a couple of days.
