I'm talking about the Endless Tower DLC bosses, mostly, although we can also rope Osquio and base Simon in with them. I just beat the last of them, Divergent Simon (peak boss btw), today, but I did it on Story difficulty so I don't quite feel like the accomplishment counts. That's not what I'm here to debate, I'm content with not considering myself on the same level as someone who beat them on Expert.

But that's what got me thinking, what's the actual difference between the bosses on Story vs Expert? I think the parry timings are around 0.1 seconds easier (frankly, I don't really care about that, considering it's still pretty exact and I have some framerate issues that make it harder to see

I've just beaten the game (peak game btw) and am doing the postgame content, but for some reason I can't progress the Esquie relationship to unlock the dive. Every time I talk to him at camp, I just get the default dialogue. So far I've:

- Beaten the story, as I just said

- Done all the content except the DLC, Endless Tower final stage, and obviously anything that requires diving

- My highest characters are around 87-88

- Every other relationship quest is maxed

Is there another requirement I'm missing? No other guide mentions one and I've seen no other posts with this issue. Could my game just be bugged somehow?

For some background, I'm plotting out a story called Oneiron, set in a world of the same name. The world in question is a collective dream, created by the minds of all the people on Earth who fell asleep and never woke up. It's basically thousands of surreal, dreamy landscapes connected by portals. Very importantly, once you enter Oneiron, you cannot go back to Earth.

...Which is exactly what two scientists planned to do. Let's call them Zeus and Hera. Together, they used the essence of the portals to create a creature, a giant bird who held the power to traverse worlds in its feathers. While Hera believed it to be the key to returning to Earth, Zeus began to see it as an active d

In the space fantasy I'm plotting out, the MC is a human untrained in magic who joins a group of elite magic knights. In the beginning, she takes on more of a strategist role than a fighter due to her high intelligence. Before joining, she was a writer who was in the middle of an ongoing story. But partway into her adventures, she realizes the fantastical events she's living through are word-for-word described in her stories from years ago, for reasons yet unknown. What's more, her mind is receiving visions from seconds into the future, letting her anticipate attacks.

She doesn't get an answer to that question until she dies early on in an unforeseeable accident. In the realm of death, she

So, for the past year or so, I've been writing a story set in a space setting called the Grand Cross. The setting itself consists of four planets:

- The first is a somewhat fantastical Earthlike planet, with a more magical "secret world" hidden within.

- The second is a planet of extreme temperatures, with frozen oceans and volcanic fields, with small settlements in domes.

- The third is a desert planet, the northern region being a massive sprawling cityscape.

- The fourth is another Earthlike planet, this one with a more "modern fantasy" vibe. It's less unique since all the others except it have been struck with magical calamities in the past.

- In the centre of the cross is a pla

TL;DR how can I justify an emperor celebrating an apocalypse he himself plans to enact (ie. how would the general populace be on board with this), and what specific celebrations could take place in this event?

I'm having trouble expanding upon and justifying an idea in my world. As the title states, a huge plot point in my story hinges upon a festival thrown by the world's supreme ruler, to celebrate the world's last moments before it's swallowed up by his own hand.

Some much needed context: The ruler in question is my story's main antagonist, Wolfe Zephyra. On his revenge quest against the protagonists who mistakenly killed his friend, he rallies up the planet of Avallia in the wake of th
