I've been trying to figure out the best LLM to use for writing. And I'd love to know which one you find the best. Here, I'm talking specifically about writing, not coding.

Never tried an Anthropic model until yesterday. But was not that impressed, frankly, with Opus 5.5. Admittedly, I have not tried it that much yet.

But I have to make a decision here in a few days as to whether or not I renew my $200 OpenAI plan.

For writing a course, I found careful planning with Astra and writing with GPT-6 Sol seems to produce the best results. Astra writes a bit too stilted, but plans really well, from what I have experienced.

I've never tried any other models than OpenAI and now Anthropic. Except

Really trying to figure this out. If you use LLMs to write at all, I really would like to hear from you.

And I'm posting here because if I'm genuinely not understanding

!I've been using Codex/Astra and GPT 6 Sol because I couldn't purchase Claude where I live in Central America. Now it has become available.!<

!Curious if anyone has an opinion about using Opus 5.5 for writing and knowledge work? Or course design and writing?!<

!Is it better than Astra or GPT 6 Sol?!<

!Also I heard the $200 plan doesn't give what it's supposed to. Can someone set me straight on this? Is the $100 plan acting as it should?!<

Hopefully it's okay to post this here.

I keep hearing about SuperWhisper and am really interested. I had settled some time ago on Willow Voice, which was by far better for me than the other main apps I've tried, and I've tried most all of them.

I have a couple of things that are really important to me, and I'd like to ask if it can be done with SuperWhisper.

  1. My daughter's name has a very unique spelling, and I use it a lot. Is it possible to add it to a dictionary and reliably get it to use the proper spelling?

  2. I speak in English and translate to Spanish. Often, I'll look at something in Spanish and translate it to English. Is that something that's easy to do in Super Whisper?

The title says it. This has been asked for so many times. It's absolutely ridiculous that they haven't spent 20 minutes with Claude Code and had it put in. It probably wouldn't even take Claude Code 20 minutes, but their developers can't seem to do it.

I'm not asking for it just because of style. The big white app that shows up on my Mac nearly blinds me because of problems with my eyes.

I've asked probably 50 times. Do you think they could do something simple like that? Well, I guess the answer is probably no, since they can't even keep their own infrastructure running well.

I am getting fed up with this nonsense. Spend 20 minutes with Claude Code and get it put in.

Stop obsessing o

I know this is the Codex group, but I'm wondering if any one of you has tried this book. Especially with Codex.

I'm a knowledge worker, and it seems to have some interesting things, but just curious if anybody's tried it and can recommend it.

I noticed Anthropic released their Mythos model, but people only have two weeks worth of use, and then they have to pay in addition to their plan to use it.

This is a damn joke.

Anthropic has to be one of the worst-run companies I have ever seen.

I'm really praying that OpenAI doesn't do stuff like this.

For context, I have the $200/month Pro plan.

Thank you for the transparency you do show, and I would like that to become even far more. We should know exactly what we're paying for, and we should get it in your monthly plans, and they shouldn't always be made less.

We should never ever be limited by what you release as only available if we pay additionally on top of the monthly p
