Not t2, but on Mounjaro for weight loss. I have been on 2.5 for almost 4 months with amazing success (no longer obese, down 35lbs) and no negative side effects. The last two weeks, the hunger and food noise returned in a big way so my doctor moved me up to 5mg. I have one 2.5 pen left and just got my box of 5. Here is my dilemma: I am supposed to finish my 2.5 this week and then start 5 next week which is the day before I leave for universal studios with my family. My doctor told me to skip a week and start 5mg when I get back, which was my plan, but I am SO hungry that I worry about my willpower on vacation when there are limited healthy food choices. I am contemplating two other options:

I tried searching, but wasn’t successful in finding a post. My husband and I are planning a visit to Colorado Springs with our 7yo and 2yo. Since my two-year-old goes to bed early and takes middle to the day naps, we’re looking for Airbnb and wanted some guidance on what would be the best neighborhood to book a stay. Any recommendations (outside of downtown)? Alternatively, if there is a great hotel that isn’t super expensive that has a separate bedroom, I am open to that too. Thank you!

Hi, I joined a company in 2021 and my offer letter says virtual location. My company recently announced a mandate to return in office three days a week, and everyone made the assumption that I was exempt because of my virtual location. The mandate has made it clear that virtual work will no longer be allowed even for those who were hired as a virtual employees and I will need high-level executive approval. This is an enormous tech company so the odds of me getting the approval is slim to next to none. It was positioned as if you’re too far from an office, move closer, or if you have an issue with being on video calls (everyone I work with is in a different office), move to the location wher

Does anyone have a nanny and also elect to do a dependent care withholding at their job? We work with an accountant/payroll specialist to ensure we are legally compliant and withhold taxes, etc. Our payroll person tells me how much I need to pay every week and I send a Zelle payment to the nanny. We opted to not do weekly pay stubs (okay with our nanny) and then reconcile every quarter to pay our taxes. I recognize that this may not work for flexible spending because I need to show documentation to get reimbursed. Does anyone have a nanny and is using a flexible spending account for dependent care? Thanks!

Hi. We adopted a 2yo male dog (neutered) about four months ago knowing he was not yet potty trained. We have been working with him on potty training consistently since we got him. We go outside with him, treat/praise him immediately when he goes outside and yet he still marks in our house, sometimes almost immediately upon coming in. When he marks, we pick him up immediately and put him outside and have tried many noises to try to deter him— noises do not bother him and he does not react to whistles/yelling/clapping/bells—he looks but is unbothered and continues marking. We have worked with two behavioralists who have given us similar advice and it’s still not working and is actually getting

When I turned 30 (pre kids) I bought myself a designer purse. Now, almost 7 years later, it’s starting to show its age which made me realize that since I became a mom, I haven’t bought anything nice for myself so I want to treat myself. I recently started a new job and got a decent sized bonus from my previous job last month. I am still nursing so a vacation is out, I work from home and I still have some weight to lose from baby so no clothes. I was thinking a new purse or maybe an office makeover since I am now permanently a remote employee, but I am open to ideas.

Hi, help needed. About 3 weeks ago we adopted a 2yo male dog. He was in what they said was a neglected living situation. We are his sixth house since September because he was rescued, fostered, adopted twice and returned to different foster both times (that was not disclosed to us until after adoption). We knew he needed to be potty trained and there was some marking at the foster’s house. Before adopting him, we consulted with 2 trainers, and had a trainer come to our house after we adopted him to ensure we were set up to successfully train him. I potty trained our current dog. We thought a few weeks of intensive training would get us to a good spot. No—We are struggling. The trainer is off

Cross posted. Hi! We are consider adopting another havanese to give our current Hav a companion and playmate. He is two years old and spent his entire life in a crate before he was rescued. He has been with his foster for 1 week and is not house trained and is marking every where. I am confident I can house train him but I am concerned about the marking. Has anyone trained an older havanese in a similar situation? We really think it could be a good fit if we can stop the marking. Thanks!

Hi, we are considering adopting a two-year-old dog that has been kept in a crate for its entire life. The dog is not house trained and is currently marking the foster’s house. I house trained our current dog when he was a puppy and will do more research for adult dogs, but I’m curious to know if anyone has successfully (or unsuccessfully) house trained a dog in a situation like this. Additionally, we have another dog in our house so I don’t know if that will help or hurt the process. Thanks!

Hi. My 11wo has been a great nighttime sleeper. I can rock her to sleep, put her in her crib and she would always sleep for several hours. We do contact naps during the day but that is the only way she will nap.

Last night, she woke up 12 times (yes, 12). She will be completely asleep, but the second I move her to the crib she wakes up crying. I was up until 4;30am and tonight is going the same as last night. I know shes too young to sleep train, but I need help getting through this.

Tips, tricks, advice? My husband works midnights so it is all on me and I have another child to take care of as well.

Note: Please do not suggest baby wearing. We have four carriers and my 2mo hates them all. I’m not trying to be rude, but I’ve tried it with four different carriers.

Help! I’m solo parenting on the weekends. My 2mo will only contact nap, meaning she won’t sleep anywhere but my arms — not the car, stroller, swing, bouncer, etc. I also need to WORK to get her to sleep (bouncing/rocking) and transferring her never works.

This is fine during the weekday when my 5yo is in school. But, the weekends are breaking me. My 5yo is desperate to play, but his playing wakes her up so he either has to do quiet time activities or watch tv. Yesterday my 2mo went 4 hours without napping because my 5yo is

2mo moves in crib?

Advice Needed

Hi parents. I put my two-month-old baby in her crib at bedtime. Sometimes, she can scoot herself down so she’s more towards the foot of the crib. Last night, she had rotated 90 degrees so that she was sideways in the crib. She is not close to rolling over but I am definitely concerned. We use the love to dream swaddle up, but is it time to stop using our swaddle? Is this normal? My first slept in a cosleeper in my bed so I have no idea what is normal or not.

Hi all. I have a job where I work from home 8am-5pm, but often have early morning and late evening meetings with little to no notice, and work travel is ramping up again quickly.

My husband works midnights and has a job that is high stress and often has his days off canceled.

We have a 4 year old and a 12 week old, and my husband wants to move to the afternoon shift to save on childcare expenses. We would get a sitter for 2 hours a day to cover the time between when he leaves for work and I need to log off. For context, we now live in high cost of living area and FT childcare expenses would be $3,000+/month. We do not have family to help out.

I am concerned that we are both going to bu

Hi all! I am in the final two months of my pregnancy, recently got a long-due promotion, but am not set up to be successful in the new role and I still have responsibilities in my old role.

I think everything is hitting me at once (work, life, the pandemic, parenting/e-learning) and I have no motivation.

Any good tips or tricks to get back on track? I need to make it less than 2 months with work, but that feels impossible right now.
